How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The staff lying about the garage being full was a real no no. Just tell guests they only can park at check in time and not before.
The location near the park where we had a festival was great. Also the breakfast was very good.

It's only a small problem but there was no water in the room at all and it was stinking hot day. We had to buy heaps of costly juices and water downstairs to keep us going..
Great value, modern, clean accommodation. Great for a quick stop over. Parking is onsite and pretty secure but comes at a cost. The breakfast was good.

At point of paying offered Euro and GBP, but no number to select. As Euro first then selected 1 but this was GBP, I always pay Euro as conversion rates are poor. Staff member smiled at this, almost like it’s set up this way.
Great breakfast. Room was comfortable, tram stop outside with No. 17 taking you to Frankfurt central, a day ticket for two about €15. Parking was €15 and a dog was the same. Really good price and location for Frankfurt, Tram was quick and frequent.

One of our rooms smelled like sewer. Nothing changed it. It was already like 11:30pm and we were too tired to go to reception + it was only for one night as we were on the road... But the smell was awfullllll The rooms were next to each other so we didn't fully get why it was so bad in that one room. It was awful though so I made sure my husband stayed in that one:)
It was much better than expected. Due to the price and other experiences with holiday Inn we were hesitant.. but it was the only reasonable option for us on our way home. We loved the surprise that our kids got a sudden free ice cream as we checked in.. Well, no, no. I should say: the kids loved it. We were surprised and BEMUSED (just kidding) as we had just surprised them like 15 minutes before that with gas station ice cream before that. Kids got the jack pot! The smirks we got from them were not worth the money we saved going for this hotel, even though the beds were nice, the staff was nice, I'm sorry you guys were great but the kids were sooooo mean to us 🥹 Beds were much nicer than I expected.

The breakfast could have had more variety. A fresh omelette station would’ve been great. I found most options unfamiliar, so I only ended up eating a few things.
The hotel is very clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. Siraj stood out he was especially attentive and supportive, even during busy times. Really appreciated his service.

It is right next to a train station and easy to get to, but a little farther away from a lot of things than we expected.
Very clean, staff was great holding our luggage since we got there before check in, and super helpful at check in.

Close to tram station, so we could easily go to the Frankfurt center, Found the breakfast to be a bit expensive so didn't have it in the hotel, staff was also fine. Huge property and room was comfortable

During the night shift, staff were nice but there is a little bit of language barrier because English is a problem and maybe this can be improved as Holidayy Inn is a big chain of hotels. They could take some Duolingo lessons for themselves, I guess it would be a plus for them.
Very clean and very comfortable bed. Staff during the day were nice and helpful. It’s nice that we can leave the luggage for few hours. Bar is cosy. Very clean room and toilet which is amazing.
