Great location - friendly stuff

The hotel is conveniently located within a very short walking distance to the city center. While the hotel parking was full, we found a more affordable parking garage just a 2-minute walk away. The breakfast was enjoyable and offered a delightful view, though it could slightly improve to match the standard of similar hotels. Although the fridge in the room was initially empty, it was easy to stock up on essentials either at the reception or from a nearby supermarket. Our room featured a pleasant terrace, which was perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an afternoon drink. Most importantly, I experienced a restful and quiet night's sleep without any back pain.

The shower and toilet in our room featured a direct window into the sleeping area, which some family members found uncomfortable. Additionally, the room lacked a suitable workspace or table for conducting work—though ideally, one's focus should perhaps be on enjoying the park. We brought our dog along and paid approximately 20 EUR per night; disappointingly, there were no amenities provided for our pet such as a water bowl, blanket, or treat, which was rather disheartening, especially since we've received much more in other hotels. While I understand that concerns about cleaning might explain the lack of amenities, I believe that excellent service could address these issues as well. A final, minor critique concerns the hotel and restaurant entrance, which doubles as a smoking area. Although the sociability of the smokers there was a pleasant aspect, the presence of smoke and a visible ashtray at the entrance might not be appreciated by everyone.

The rooms are nice, the breakfast was good.

The wellness area was very small and fully crowded at all times. One of restaurants was super slow and expensive. The bar was not actually in the hotel but close by and we never managed to get a table there.

Very nice hotel that gives you that oldschool feeling of class with a touch of Alps-ambiance. Breakfast is great.

Parking can be a hassle. Parkhaus Altstadt is the better option here

Staff very nice and helpfull, all nice and clean. Rooms just like on photos. Lovely lesure area. Swimming pool bit chilly for 2 year old but in general nice a cosy place
