How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

WiFi didn’t work even though they said so, so I had to pay my telephone provider extra to get some internet going.
After a long day of travel, the boxspring bed with the fresh sheets were a godsend!

Lack of ventilation. Even heating was not on it was very hot inside.
Very nice and cozy hotel. Personel was very helpfull. Room is small but was OK for our business trip for 2 days. As we came to the fair with our car it was very good variant for us that there were a big parking. Breakfast was really enought. We also had dinner. The portions are very huge! Special thanks for barman. He was really nice and explained about dishes as we do not understand german. In general we are happy about our short stay.

Nothing stood out that needed changing or improving.
We liked the closeness of the hotel from the A4 autobahn. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Although the room was small it was very clean and well appointed. The bathroom facilities were very good with daily accessories at hand, for example, soap, hairdrier, tissues, etc.. The shower and bed were both exceptional. If the window was open the A4 autobahn could just be heard but not enough to keep us awake at night. The food at the bar/restaurant was very good. If you visit on a Wednesday their special is a potato pancake. We loved them.

Room had tiny roaches dead on the floor. Room smelled a bit weird and sour, like passionfruit, but later we saw that the sanitizer used to clean the room smelled like that. No minibar or fridge in the room.

We couldn’t believe that there was no shampoo or shower gel provided! The staff were not very friendly.
It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was good and the breakfast was quite nice.

Clean room. Quiet place, surrounded by green areas.
It is far from the center. Grate if you are traveling and need to rest from traffic and busy tourist places. The parking is free and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant has a great local atmosphere and grate food.

We understand that it may not be possible to have tea/coffee in each room but perhaps a coffee station in the foyer would be an awesome addition.
Whilst no frills it met all our needs, was comfortable and perfectly located in the outskirts of Cologne. It was perfect sitting in the beer garden enjoying dinner and this was excellent value for money.

Shampoo/soap facilities in bathroom practically non-existent. Only had small paper sachets with soap in them. Paper for the shower works particularly well.

The single bed and horrid man made Fibre sheet. Modern shower but had been squeezed in.
Good parking facilities and green surroundings. Very kind and helpful young lady who was in duty Tuesday evening. Very hospitable that a bottle of mineral water was placed in room, needed as very hot.

Breakfast had limited choice.
Very pleasant hotel which is attached to a restaurant and tennis club. Free parking. Staff were very nice and helpful. Meals available in the restaurant.

No receptionist all day,no lift (stairs only ) to getup to 3rd floor rooms with luggages Poor breakfast ( same all week long ) Uncomfortable mattress and pillows No USB sockets . No air conditioner ( not good to stay in summer).Too noisy cause it's situated in a highway.

Hotel staff were very friendly. The food in the restaurant delicious and breakfast was good. The location was perfect for allowing bus travel or walking to local shops and amenities. Car parking was a bonus too.

Everything was good but I would have liked a refrigerator in the rooms and the beds could have been wider.A hotel far from the city center, but close to where I got trained
The hotel is clean. The hotel staffs are so helpful. Breakfast is also good. They use quality products for breakfast. The coffee and pretzel were good.
