A large hotel in a central location. Large, comfortable, clean rooms (simple traditional style rather than modern). Large and lively onsite restaurant serving local specialities. Underground parking (quite busy).

Breakfast was very good. We had half board, and the dinner (buffé style) was OK. Location just at the border of the center was very good. Parking in garage was perfect.

The carpeted floor in the room was a bit meh and part of what I would call quite outdated interior. Bathroom was more recent and ok. Staff was friendly in interaction but not very extrovert when just passing through.

It's in a very good location at the end of the pedestrian street. Clean and nice. Friendly restaurant at ground floor with good food and drink.

Huge hotel, normal hotel rooms. Clean and nice. Panoram sauna on the 4 floors is one of the best sauna where I was before. Breakfast buffet table, dinner is a la carte, both are very good.

The staff did not speak English, so the communication was a little bit difficult (specially in the restaurant). poor lighting in the room.

Realised that the pillows provided were very flimsy - unfortunately that was at a late time of day (or rather night). There were no extra pillows provided in the closet. Also: hotel has no room fridges - yet the amazing receptionist offered to put anything in the kitchen fridge..

The young receptionist was exceptionally friendly and accommodating - a major plus as the first impression.

Its a very minor thing, but the lockers in the sauna for the mens side were all missing locks or had been left locked - despite the sauna being empty. I presume this is really the fault of badly behaved or forgetful guests, but meant I couldn't store my clothes anywhere securely. Beds were a bit hard.

Lovely room, lovely staff, nicely placed. Staff very friendly and accommodating, really willing to help. Parking was really simple. Whole place decorated nicely which gave a luxury sort of feel whilst also being cosy.

The rooms are stripped of nearly everything. It's the height of the summer, no fans in the rooms, no mini-fridges, no decent sheets or light duvets on the bed. It's not an inexpensive hotel. I expect some amenities in the rooms. The wifi was spotty at best. We has a large event and no air flow, it was sweaty and uncomfortable. Closing lined curtains only does so much.

The facility is nice, well-kept, and the breakfast is great. The rooms are a nice size.

During our stay, the weather was around 29/30 degrees Celsius, and the rooms were unbearably hot without any fans provided. The flannel-like sheets only made it worse, and with the room temperature at 28 degrees, the hotel offered no solutions. Clearly, the place is not designed for summer. Also, water was provided but it was EUR3 - it is very hot and not even water was provided for free. It is the first hotel I have been to in Germany where that was the case. The room service was quite odd and awkward. You have to fill in a form, of which you only get one, to specify what you want done. Although it was supposedly upon request, services were only offered once a week. It was really annoying to have to go to them just to ask them to empty a bin, which should be done automatically every day. Additionally, running out of essentials like tissues and toilet paper and having to ask for them to be replenished made the whole stay awkward and not relaxing. There were no tea or coffee facilities, so I had to ask for a kettle, which they did provide, but this is something that is standard in most hotels in Germany. When we tried to dine at the hotel, we were informed it would take 2 hours and were asked to leave. I wasn't sure if it was because they were shorthanded in the kitchen or just didn't want to deal with us in English. Overall, it was not a great stay.

Although old fashioned, the room was very spacious. There was a great spread for breakfast. The location is fantastic for the town with cafes and shops all walking distance.

A trully beautiful Hotel. Located at the border of the the city center and next to the Forest Road, very useful location. The staff was nice the room was clean, bed comfortable and the food was delicious, in the restaurant as in the breakfast buffet.
