The pillows were very uncomfortable & mine seemed quite old :( I also didn't realise or know that my room is directly facing train tracks, so I didn't have any privacy.

Very friendly hosts & clean room. I appreciate the organic products in the Bathroom! Nice touch :)

It would have been nice with a reception to ask things, but then again, phone was always picked up when we had a question. Unhandy you have to pay drinks (nicely priced btw) with an app that did not work for me, or with cash, what we do not use so much. And yes, it was somewhat noisy with the tram - it did not bother us too much and there was the earplugs! ;)

Nice hotel, personal touch, made with love. Nice atmosfeer with also working spaces and music studios. Nice there was some breakfast (milk/yoghurt and muesli), and I think the huge box with earplugs was quite humorous. Room was great for my daughter as she had her own little attic.

I wish I had discovered earlier that there is a kitchen where we could have eaten yoghurt/muesli breakfast and had coffee. We only found out about the kitchen on 3rd day! I guess it was our own fault lol

Fully electronic check in, we haven't seen staff at all. The furniture in the room and in the common area is nice and of good quality. Everything was clean and pleasant to use.

In short, excellent bang for buck. Will stay again if I ever visit Hamburg. Location: we visited only for 1 night so didn’t really have the chance to explore the surrounding. But seemed like a few restaurants around + near to public transport! Property: excellent property. Well managed check in and check out process, completely automated and streamlined. No hassles whatsoever. Nice terrace and lounge area to relax. Room: extremely clean room with great amenities. A lot of plug points. All in all well designed room. No complaints.

An additional blanket for cooler nights would have been helpful, rooms are very tall and dropping temperatures are easily felt.

It's a lovely concept between boarding house/hostel and hotel comfort. Not for everyone, though, stark industrial architecture with some colour accents (bronze, fuchsia). Minimalistic rooms but spacious and comfortable enough. My room was very clean, a small balcony facing the train tracks was an unexpected bonus as was the amenities in the lounge. Great base for exploring Hamburg afar the main tourist mainstays, lots of cafes, restaurants and things to explore around and nearby.

Modern design hotel, perfect for shorter stays in Hamburg. We were two adults and three kids, and everyone enjoyed their time at Studio Feuerfest. Convenient location close to the U3 U-Bahn line (the circle line that will take you anywhere in central Hamburg in no time). We heard the trains at night, but we all slept well and did not use the provided earplugs. We used the kitchen to cook dinner, and we also enjoyed the breakfast bar with yoghurt and musli.

We liked the design of the rooms. The studio is next to the train track. But when the windows were closed we didn‘t feel bothered by the sound.

It was really close to the Barmbek station and very safe to walk to, the self check-in was really easy. I didn’t use any of the common facilities, but the room was nicely decorated and had all the amenities. There was also an option online to request the change of towels and throw out the trash which I didn’t use because of my short stay, thus I don’t know how that would work but it was a nice touch. I can see how people who are not used to the sound of trains could find the presence of the train tracks nearby a problem. My room was on the 3rd floor facing the train tracks directly and I didn’t consider the sound unbearable, in fact, I barely heard it. The gentleman I had to call in the early Sunday morning to unlock the front gate for me was really nice and helpful.
