The property was made out of wood so the floor was very creaky and loud at night. The windows does not have blinds or black out curtains so it was bright in the morning.

The property was really easy to find and it has its own parking lot for the guests. The room has a coffee maker, water heater, free coffee and water. The Restaurant is also a plus. The famous Lechfall is just accross the property.

The rooms are located on top of a restaurant. Pretty simple but with lots of character. It feels like you’re staying at a friend’s place. Kettle and coffee maker in the room. Very friendly hosts. Convenient parking right at the hotel. You can use a back door to enter and exit so that you don’t have to go through the restaurant.

Excellent location, easy on site parking, nice easy 5-10 minute walk into Fussen next to the river. Room was above the road but very good sound proofing so this didn’t affect us. Spectacular view of the mountains. Coffee tea and water all provided and attentive staff made sure we had all we needed Fridge in the room

Nothing to dislike, we were pleasantly surprised at how sweet the property is in spite of the name!

The setting, right opposite the waterfall and river with walking paths in the forest was great. Good parking for guests at the side of the hotel and the view from our window overlooking the river and forest was lovely. The welcome on arrival was very friendly and very efficient, the owner was busy with the restaurant which seemed popular with locals too but he was expecting us and made us feel at home. The room, although not huge was perfectly adequate for one night. It was warm, very clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated and well maintained. Although breakfast isn't served, there are tea and coffee in the room, bottles of water and a cereal bar provided for you for the morning, which was a nice touch. We ate in the restaurant, good selection and food is good, even if you aren't a meat eater a lovely selection of salads and tapas dishes can make a nice meal. A 10 min walk along the river takes you to Fussen old town, beautiful! Plenty of cafés to get a nice breakfast and coffees in the morning. Lovely little shops too, we wished we had more time to look around the town or to do a walk in the forest area so would definitely come back passing through this area, very pretty.

The only negative was our room had very little hot water pressure.

Our room had a million dollar view. We appreciated the kettle and coffee machine in the room. Great location and beautiful food in the restaurant. The owner is very friendly and has excellent communication skills.. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

The room didn't feel clean. There were big spider-webs in every corner on the ceiling, even in the bathroom too. There is no fridge in the room. There is no breakfast option. It has a restaurant under the rooms and can be noisy until 9.30 p.m. This pension has the potential due to its location but needs much more care.

The pension is in a beautiful place, next to the forest and opposite the Lechfall, on the main road. The old town is about 20 minutes on foot. It has private parking in the forest, you should drive up beside the building. If there is no available parking lot, you can park on the main road opposite the pension. The staff was very friendly, helpful and can speak English. Our room was very small and needs renovation. Just to mention, as it is opposite the Lechfall, you can hear the constant water rumbling.

Clean, functional, competitive price, friendly staff, coffee/tea machine with biscuits etc, cosy terrace, near to Fernpass -so very convenient for overnight stay and very close to Fussen (10 min walk) for a rapid pleasant visit. Must visit Lech waterfall just across road. Worth returning to visit area for a couple of days eg walking, cycling. Although no breakfast on site, no problem to find something in Fussen.

Room was comfortable but very small and ‘basic’ needs shutters or blinds in the windows. Shower new and very hot!

We arrived to a friendly welcome, the owner and his family were helpful and spoke good English Our clean and pleasant room was well equipped with a kettle and a coffee pod machine and plenty of refreshments and a cereal bar Rooms are above the steak restaurant but that closes by 21:30 and there was no disturbance. Parking is available on site. The guesthouse is opposite Lech Falls which are impressive. It’s is only a 10 minute walk to the pretty Bavarian town of Füssen We ate our evening meal in the guesthouse - they advertise as Steak and tapas but there is more to choose from. I had a delicious salad. Service was good and the restaurant is clearly popular with locals as well as guest Overall a lovely stay, good location and good value for money.
