Breakfast felt a little quiet, could maybe have a bit of background music on and also in the spa. Would be good to have some kind of night light in the bathroom, with the bathroom having a window into the room when you put the light on in the middle of the night it lit up the whole room.

Huge room, comfy bed, balcony with view, spa area was great, good breakfast. Was great to get the free travel pass so we could use the train, although we only got it because we noticed it on a poster, it would be better if we were told about it at checkin.

The Main balcony door was stuck at first and took a whole day to get repaired. Even then is was not fully functional. The walls around the closets were a bit mucky. For the price of the room, I expected it to be cleaner.

The rooms were large and well appointed. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was great. The breakfasts were fantastic. The fitness area exceeded my expectations.

The only downsides were that the price was a bit on the higher side and the two separate beds kept sliding apart, which wasn’t ideal for a couple. Still, overall, we had a lovely time and would gladly come back!

My partner and I visited Sonnenhof for our very first trip together, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The atmosphere was peaceful and romantic, the surroundings were beautiful, and the staff made us feel truly welcome. Everything about our stay felt special — from the cozy rooms to the delicious food. It was the perfect place to start creating memories as a couple, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

The property is beautiful and at a good location. Surroundings were nice and serene. Our room was clean and comfortable. Water pressure in the bathroom was great. Staff were very helpful and welcoming at all times. They were kind and recommended good things. Breakfast was also good and delicious. We especially loved the beetroot cream cheese, gooseberry jam and local red wine.

There was some kind of generator in the area of the hotel where i slept. It made a buzzing noice every 2/3 minutes for 5 seconds. Very irritating. I have slept only 1 or 2 hours.

Very convenient location to go hiking. We have really enjoyed the spa, especially the panoramic sauna. The restaurant was also very good. It was a lovely weekend!

The spa area is very spread out the hotel and not in one common area. So you have to walk around and take elevators to get to different spa areas. Also not one common rule of “textile-free” and “textile” area. Didn’t like the fact one sauna was textile-only.

The only little downside is the high temperature in the room. It was suggested to turn on the aircondition or leave a window open, which sounds like ecological suicide to me.

It’s a very beautiful property. It’s clean and well preserved. The rooms are very bright and offer plenty of space. The staff was very friendly and offered help whenever they could.

Although we selected this room for the different views(Mountain, river etc.) it was mentioned to offer, any view from our room/ balcony was covered for the most part by the side of the mountain on top which the hotel was located, which was a bit disappointing.

Nice location, food and drinks, service and pleasant staff with some good aesthetics sense in the room deco. The personnel at the massage centre and the reception were friendly and nice and the waitress at our table was more than ready to provide some good recommendations A crib was provided for our 4 month old son.

Less choices of the lunch and dinner opportunities around the hotel. The dinner at the hotel is also available but it costs a bit considering the contents of the dishes. The restaurant at the hotel can be booked beforehand but it takes a time to be served. If you have a kid, I recommend you to order the fast serve menu otherwise kid is getting tired to wait the long dinner time.

It was just perfect. Surrounded by amazing nature. The hotel is clean in highest level. Nice breakfast, friendly staff. Anette, the owner is carring lovely Lady. Rooms are big with large balcony. They really thought about all the details to make the stay comfortable. Perfect.
