The stairs are a bit steep if you’ve got a big bag and the lift gets you to between floors but they can’t help that it’s how it was built! And I would say their photographer did a good job with the photos

Could have been a bit cleaner. Check-in was complicated. The website took forever to load and finding the key code was almost like a needle in a haystack.

It was cozy, enough space, and the fridge is a plus. There is a really nice garden behind the rooms in the back.

The room was a more than adequate size for a couple. It was quite clean. The hotel has a great location, in a matter of minutes you are already in the cathedral or you can take the train since there is a station a few minutes away. The staff was very nice and they made everything very easy.

The lights were only working in the bathroom, but when we informed the receptionist, she didn't believe us. The app they use for onboarding could use some improvement, particularly by offering an English language option, as it was difficult to locate the codes. Additionally, blackout curtains would be a nice touch.

The location was excellent, and the room was thoroughly cleaned.

No soap, the shower gel is one small bag of 10 ml. The lack of wife and at night the elevator was written in advance. One take for granted such issues, so I advise to read through all details. The bed linen seemed to me high degree of polyester. The whole ambiance was something old with bearable smell, a need a bit of renovation

Well I requested 2 pillows, in my first morning this lady walks in "you requested pillows. Where do you want them? In .my bed i said. In any hotel you leave the stuff requested if nobody gets the door...OUTSIDE. she did walk in. She laughed at my struggle to get the door unlocked... and I do apologize for using a bad word when I was checking out I m a guest and I should have been listened to.

My first time visiting Köln, rainy day arriving in a new city...this place is visible from the train station front. Super conveniently located. I didn't read it was a self check in... I was a bit tired but a guest said they had a front desk, he allowed me in. Some lady working at the bar restaurant in the building came to explain me the self check in. I made a request for extra pillows, they were not there, the TV didn't work but... the view these big windows were everything. I showered went to get some groceries. It s raining... I got some problems to use the key, again my first time using this type of key. I loved the restaurant next door too.

I paid extra for a room which was supposed to have a bathtube, since I wanted to do a spa night, but there was none, so I paid extra for nothing. Otherwise my stay went pleasently

Unfortunately, on the Monday night I didn't have any WIFI and when I went back to the hotel on Tuesday evening, for some unknown reason my key fob didn't work at the front door and also on my hotel room door. I can confirm that this got sorted out quickly and I had WIFI that all that evening until the following morning when I checked out.

The room I stayed in was very clean and the location was excellent as my work office was just around the corner which was handy for me and when the WIFI worked it was good.

The bathtub. The bathtub's flooring is not align to the bathroom's floor. When i go out of the bathtub, i fall in the floor, almost bump my head because im not expecting the floors are not aligned. Not to mention my foot is still wet. Please do something about it. You could at least put a stool to make it equal. Many accidents can happen in that and others can sue you for that. Thanks.

The room was basic could definitely do with an upgraded shower room this dated back to the 1970's Don't like shower curtains. No Internet for 24 hours, I tried to call the number but only a message in German, I messaged via Booking.com twice and text once with no replies. Eventually got Internet until the morning we were leaving. All I can think of is they switch it off. However, we asked for extra pillows and a kettle which was a bonus

The Wlan didn't work throughout my stay, and more also, the toilet sit was the worst I have ever seen. You couldn't sit comfortably on it, and every time, they have to come and adjust it.

The biggest opportunity was the internet. Not looking to steam video, games or movies. Just basic email. Needed to hotspot with my partner who had eSIM data.

The location was great for an overnight visit. The staff was very nice and easy to work with.
