The staff was super friendly, and parking for our motorcycle was perfect. The room felt much nicer than in the photos, and all late check-in instructions were very clear. We loved the nearby Italian restaurant, the short walk to the lake, and the peaceful night with open windows and rain.

Everything especially the fact that they have various vegan options including cheese and wurst for breakfast.

The friendly staff and the breakfast was the highlight of this property.

Perhaps a few upgrades at the property e.g. the apartment bathroom would make it even more attractive for the quests to return.

This hotel really exceeded my expectations with providing water heater, coffee and tea in the room. Many 4 stars dont. Nice friendly staff, late checkin is no problem.

Long distance from the Lindau thereme, about 10km, moisture removal fan is loud and not working well, they needed to be replaced.

Our first floor room had additional facilities (balcony, fridge) and was large and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and there was a wide range of interesting buffet items, individually portioned in reusable glass containers in a refrigerated display. A model of sustainability. All the staff were very helpful. Free guest parking outside the hotel. The hotel garden was pretty. The railway station was very close and we had an included Echt Bodensee card which gave us free rail travel in the area.

The hotel layout is unusual in that the reception area does not communicate directly with the bedrooms on either the first or second floor. There is a separate guest entrance for both and the main access to our room on the first floor was via an outdoor staircase; fortunately it didn't rain while we were there. There was an alternative entrance at the other end of the building which took you up an inside staircase to the second floor and then back down to the first floor at the end of a corridor. There was no lift. Although we are now quite elderly, we coped with the stairs but would have liked to have been forewarned, perhaps in the website description.

Excellent breakfast. Very accomodating with good dinner recommendations. Rooms are very basic, but clean and comfortable. Good hot shower.
