Great location the room with the balcony is beautiful-having a walk next to the vineyard is really nice. Excellent breakfast. Parking facilities spacious!

The suites are incredibly comfortable and modern, and the views are spectacular. A perfect weekend getaway to relax.

I almost broke my toe on an unmarked step in the shower. The temperature of the water in the shower changes spontaneously no matter how it is set.

Can’t fault the hotel or the staff. Just disappointed not to have had time to try the pool or sauna.

We always love a ‘unique building’ and this hotel did not disappoint! We were prepared for the ‘hike’ up 400 steps from the town! It is an excellent way to walk off your dinner - well lit and a pleasant walk through the vineyards. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and dining on the terrace was sublime!

Absolutelly nothing.

I liked all from a location of the hotel with nice view of valley with river Main and all the city to personal and equipment of the room and restaurant. Supper was delicious. Room was cleaned up very well and silent. I appriciate highly comfortable beds and slimy pillows. Breakfast was delicious also with wide (rich) range of bakery, hams, cheeses, yoghurts..... I liked the sound of clockbell. By my arrival was at the reception very pleasant receptionist and I became all informations the I needed.

The pool and sunbathing area outside was quite small.

Extra charges for slightly late check-out were not made transparent, coupled with empty beer bottle with closed cap placed in fridge as part of free minibar was totally unprofessional.

Not sure if it was a hotel issue, but only one of two rooms on a single, confirmed booking through Booking.com were in the hotel booking system. The staff was accommodating and took good care of us.

There were 2 young boys when we came to the hotel at the reception area, we didn’t feel welcome from them at all, we came half an hr early so they told us to wait in the cafeteria, they simply didn’t inform us about anything like breakfast time, swimming pool or sauna or anything abt the hotel, we had to ask abt everything ourselves later on the day, maybe they r not used to having brown people at the hotel or they r just inexperienced, all other staff besides these two were very friendly especially at breakfast area and at the restaurant

The hotel is in a very beautiful place on top of a hill, the hotel itself is an ancient castle type hotel with many interesting things from the past, the walk around the hotel in the vineyard area is absolutely refreshing with amazing views of Würzburg

The room temperature was not so good. For the moments, it was too hot in the room, even when l tried to regulate with the termostat.

Getting to the property without a car can be very difficult if traveling with suitcases. Hailing a taxi in town can be difficult but the hotel staff can help.

Part of the building was being renovated so there wasn’t a lot of services available. To get to the room you have to walk through the dining area which is awkward. Waiting for someone to show you to your table is weird because you have to wait by the kitchen door for someone to walk by.

Great walking location, and rooms were in an old castle/mansion. Beautiful views, and dinner and breakfast was delicious.

Make sure to check with the hotel beforehand which rooms are available. Some rooms are very small and dark - which is ok if you want the castle feeling.

Amazing location with fabulous views over Würzburg. Ten minutes from the town on an e-bike. The hotel has garage facilities for storing and charging bikes. The restaurant is amazing, the food delicious. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we’ve experienced. The hotel is upmarket, so quite an expensive choice.
