The room was a bit small, the bed also a bit small and not a perfect fit for me but it didn't ruin the sleep or stay in any way. Despite these things it was clean and everything worked as it should. With regards to motorcycle riders it's always an advantage to have an option not street exposed. But in fairness, I didn't ask for alternatives, and parked near the front entry of the building.

One of those choices that turned out to be a good one. I booked it on a whim, just 30 minutes away. Traveling solo on a motorcycle I always look for (for me) convenient options. More often that not places not too central. And this establishments had all I needed. Great breakfast too!

Having a few more hot food choices for breakfast would be great but, what was available was still good.

The details that have been persevered through the years are incredible!! Beautiful inside and out! The staff was helpful, polite, and very friendly.

The lack of a lift made it more difficult to get our suitcases up the stairs. For me it wasn't so much a problem but I traveled with a pensioner.

Incredibly charming with an elegant old-time decor, but not old-fashioned! We loved our room with it's character full sloping roof and the location in the main square. The breakfast was simple and completely sufficient. Everything you need without going over the top.

This is an old house, and even there is a renovated half of it with new rooms for new prices, the fact still remains: it's very hot, the entire afternoon sun burns up the place, no air-conditioning, window opening makes no sence, and the tiny standing table ventilation helps no more either. For this price should be at least a mini fridge in the rooms, bc even the tap water was not cold enough. We asked for a room change bc of the heat, which we got immediately, thank you for that. But bc of the entire roof construction, everything was still hot. Bed is uncomfortable, someone was very loud in another room, so we didn't sleep at all. The next day, we went downstairs for breakfast, which was a disaster, so we left without taking anything. Went to the reception to check out, and I started to complain on a nice tone (I'm not a complaining type of guest) , about the above written problems, and the shortest answers I got was really poor and unfriendly. Me myself I work as a receptionist at a hotel so I know how it works, (told the stuff as well), I asked for a discount , and to take off the breakfast from my bill since we didn't eat anything, of course the answer was , why didn't I cancel it on booking, bc I made the reservation there. Fine. They can't give me and won't give me any discount bc their manager won't be happy about it and it's a fixed price from booking. Well . From one colleague to another. You can give discount even if it's booking reservation with Hotel collect, and then you report it to booking.com and they won't charge you the entire amount. Simple is that. But you simply didn't want to. When you come to my hotel, as many of you from your country does, everyone is all about discount, not paying, not including the children in the reservation so they think it will be free of charge, this is not how it works!

The guest house is located in a charming little village, where we actually used to live before as well. Our favorite ice cream shop is right beside it, and it was open. There is free parking space at the front of the house, but only if the ice cream shop is already closed (21 pm) , otherwise, it's loaded with ice cream eating guest's cars. The spaces should be reserved at least the ones before the Hotel entrance, for hotel guests. Just put a sign there, no big deal.
