It got rather hot at night in the room and plenty of Moskitos when we got in since the little river is so close by.

Everything is newly renovated, the stuff was super friendly, everything was spotless clean. Nice Biergarten, great breakfast and spacious rooms.

Nice hotel and restaurant in an old brewery. They still make the beer, in the next building. You can taste the beer and very good food in the restaurant.

No views from room… only saw the roof of the adjacent building. Breakfast was good but the eggs and bacon were undercooked and choices were minimal.

Hotel is located in very nice Bavarian town with beautiful suroundings. Breakfast was deliciuos with lot’s of options. Lunch we had at the same restaurant was very good too! And the beer… you have to try it!

Was very hot and the air cooler didnt work well. Opening the window not handy as this is directly above the courtyard of the restaurant.

Lovely renovated hotel with own brewery and restaurant. Good value food. Was here with the dog. Great walks in the area to the Danube in pretty town. Would come back.

Booking false information, stated that - The family room consists of two normal double rooms with a desk and a private bathroom and are connected with a lockable door. But it's actually one room, and the sofa is not for adults, even though the room offers 4 adults.

A charming hotel in a historic building. The room was spacious and really calm (I was on the 3rd floor). The restaurant is so good and for a really good price. I took the "ofenfrisches Schäuferla" and OMG! One of the best piece of pork I ever ate! The staff was friendly and helpful.

The check-in: the person at the reception seemed to be overwhelmed with 3 guests arriving at the same time.

Our stay at Schattenhofer Braugasthof was excellent: the old brewery has been entirely renovated with attention to details and maintaining the historical atmosphere. Our room was incredible spacious, the minibar had space to store groceries, the bathroom was amazing, in particular the shower. We tried the restaurant in the very nice courtyard and can only recommend it. The hotel has also storage for the bikes.

Great comprehensive concept: hotel (35 rooms), brewery, beer garden, restaurant. All recently renovated. Superb location in a cute town and close to nature (Altmühl valley). Excellent value for money.

The restaurant staff need more time to connect with the guests. First with two and then one. Too many people for one.

New, special location for a hotel in an old brewery. Is very nicely made, however the interior of the restaurants was more like a monastery. A bit uncosy, thinking about Bavarian standards. but practical! Space enough between the tables thinking about corona… Further the hotel is nicely made. Rooms are very nice, super clean, good beds, great shower! The two ladies of the reception, cleaning lady and the lady for the breakfast even as the cheffin as chef are very kind! Will surely return.

One coffee machine at the breakfast buffet with a never ending line of users. No coffee service at the table. Only a kettle with instant coffee in the room. We like coffee (can you tell).

Good selection of breakfast items. Room was very nice- beautiful floors, large bed., reasonably priced mini bar. The entire hotel is very modern and well appointed.

the beds are hard and the bed covers are synthetic and there is also a bed liner so when it is warm - 27 degrees in the room there is no sleep because of sweating
