Just a little too far out and lots of hills. Ok to walk down to town 10-15 minutes. But too hard an incline to walk back taxi £10-15 euro

W i-fi was a bit weak in my room and room itself lacked a bit of warmth in terms of decor.

Great location, very clean, comfortable bed, good breakfast with nice coffee. It was also competitively priced and staff was very nice.

No bar or restaurant and quite a long walk uphill from town but good for us!

I stayed the room at the entrance floor. First night I felt its not super safe since It was right next to entrance door. It is only door that you can use after 10PM. But haven't have any issue. Just felt weird.

I like the personal in the breakfast area. They were super nice and welcoming. There is by corridor when you enter the room and there is another door for my room. The bathroom is on the corridor. It was like a dormitory:) Bathroom was fancy and quite new.

I would like to advise allowing reception staff to communicate with guests in languages other than German, adding music TV channels and channels in other languages. Also, perhaps, to increase the occupancy of the hotel, it would be advisable to use the capabilities of the ski resort - purchase and use a snow cannon, use a cable car, etc.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room is clean and spacious, equipped with everything you need. Breakfast is good. I was especially pleased with the surprise that the hotel staff arranged for my birthday - for breakfast our table was festively decorated and my wife and I received a glass of dry sparkling wine. Very good short trekking route with a beautiful observation tower in the end.

We almost missed check-in as it was closing before official closure time (staff called us to ask if we could come earlier). We had to ask other quest how to enter hotel as staff left and closed main entrance right after we got a key and then to upload baggage from the car. No restaurant around and in hotel.

The ability of other guests to park adequately in a parking lot shows room for improvement.

Stauffi liked the possibility to cook tea in his room, although he thinks the water boiler should be rinsed once in a while. He liked having the opportunity to take part in a competition in ski-jumping.

It’s manageable without a car, the walk from the main station was 30 minutes with a 5 minute uphill portion. Could be challenging with luggage, also tiring after a long day out.

The breakfast selection was great. Complimentary sauna was easy to use and a very nice feature after a long day out. I really enjoyed getting a to choose between a little surprise or housekeeping.

The internet was really subpar, it often disconnected or slowed down, making it frustrating to do my online course.

I liked that the hotel was set away from the center. Staff were friendly and my stay was very comfortable.

the taxi from the bahnhof costs €15. it would be nice to have a hotel shuttle. but this wasn't a big problem - the taxi driver gave us a great tour of the village :-)

The staff were very friendly and helped us with steam train tickets. Vegetarians have many options at breakfast. The hotel is very picturesque and located next to a small ski jump facility. My young daughter and I had fun and will definitely come back.

Apart from one waitress the staff didnt understand English which could be an issue for some people Location is very isolated up a mountain at the end of a residential district. Definitely need a car. Rooms were basic and quite small.

This hotel is amazing. It's in a great location, at the end of Wernigerode, right next to the nature. I felt the air there is super clean and healthy. I like the green grass of the ski schanzen (we were there in the summer). At night it is so quiet, you only hear birds' noises. The room was spacious and the bathroom had everything necessary. I really love this location for its serenity, nature and fresh air. The breakfast in the hotel was very good as well.
