The television did not receive a lot of channels - about 20 out of the 50 you could choose from - but I don't visit a hotel to watch television in general so this is only a very minor thing.

Breakfast was good, the room was big and even had a bath instead of the usual shower you normally get in hotels.

Services are a bit essential. Staff was not very welcoming/helpful, yet nothing too bad considering the usual mood of northern Germany (I can tell after 20 years experience traveling the area...). Did not spot an elevator, may be a problem since stairs here are a serious business.

Nice hotel, located in front of the Bauhaus 'master's houses'. Private parking and road parking (at night) available. Quiet neighborhood, at a walking distance from Bauhaus main building, and 20 minutes from the city center. Modern and neat property. Nicely designed room. Very quiet, good for working as well as for tourism. Good breakfast.

The staff were a bit gruff and asked that I return and pay mid-afternoon although I wished to pay when I checked in. Returning mid-afternoon wasn’t exactly convenient. Parking in the hotel’s lot is tight. I’d suggest parking on the st if you have a larger car.

Clean, comfortable, quiet room. Located near the Bauhaus masters’ houses. Breakfast was good as well.

The location is in-between an easy walk with luggage and too short for a taxi ride. This can be challenging if you have a young family. Showers are a bit smallish for a larger person, and the rooms could potentially use block out curtains to assist with closing out light for early sleepers and those that want a sleep in.

The breakfast was amazing. No hot breakfast but a great assortment of cereals, meats, cheeses and fruit. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room size was very comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the UNESCO Bauhaus and Dessau Park. I would stay again if visiting Dessau.

The room had no kettle, or tea/coffee making facilities and there was no bathmat or assistance handles in the shower cubicle. As the floor of the shower cubicle was very slippy, be careful if you're not so good on your feet! The breakfast was OK but a little disappointing in scope and variety with no hot food apart from soft boiled eggs. It included two choices of cheese, two choices of bread roll, a few cold meats, muesli, yoghurt, but no fresh fruit (only fruit salad). There are few amenities in the vicinity of the hotel - just a kebab shop 5-10 minutes walk away, and a couple of budget supermarkets 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel. The city centre is a 20-30 minutes walk away, so I recommend arriving with bottled water and any other essentials you might need rather than relying on local shops. The best supermarket is the Kaufland just around from the main train station, which is about 15-20 minutes walk from the hotel.

The hotel is excellently located for anyone visiting the Bauhaus and the Meisterhäuser (which are just across the road). It's also close to the Georgenpark and gardens that provide a wonderful walk up to the Elbe. The room was a nice size with a comfy bed, a decent sized wardrobe, en-suite bathroom with a good shower unit, and a desk in the room (Thank you!!). Free WiFi is also provided and worked well during my stay. Everything was clean and well run, and represented good value for money. The staff were mainly pleasant, if not overly friendly.

Housekeeping. Instead of changing dirty sheets on the bed as directed, the cleaner just put the duvet over them. Little cleaning of other parts of the room. I had to ask for the room to be cleaned properly.
