Location, 10-15 min from the Old City

Using metal keys. I was not sure it is safe to leave my expensive laptop and camera in the room sound isolation. I could hear everybody walking/talking in the corridor

The room was very clean, as long as the toilet and shower. The bed was comfortable.

The value for the price.

there is only one toilet each for male and female that we have to share with the whole floor (about 10 rooms). It's a bit busy in some period of the day.

Nice place to stay. Very nice rooms and facilities, well located.

Hotel is still under construction, noone we could access to when we had problem, there was a group partying in the middld of of the night in the floor hall.

Nice staff, good location.

Pretty expensive for what you get. Some of the rooms are pretty shabby, noisy from the other rooms and hallway. Only one toilet for men and one for women in the entire place. Parking costs 5,- extra which is unnecessary regarding the huge parking lot.

The location was good

They forced me to wire full payment at booking time and would not take credit card or wait. They promised gift cards for a restaurant but there were none. They were not there at checkin and did not answer the local phone number that was posted in case no one was there. We had to get a someone from a different business to look after us. When the right person arrived much later he just cared about us filling out a form re lodging. The room had someones left behind dirty clothes behind the bed and it was not the room that is pictured or similar.

guesthouse: great location; on walking distance to the ski lift and very close to many nice shops, bakeries, restaurants etc. cleanliness, cosy room, large balcony, free parking. Basic, but good value for money

The bathroom was clean, however, a door was lacking.

The hotel is in a walk distance from Nebelhornbahn. Oberstdorf is a nice town with plenty of shops and restaurants.

Permanent fresh paint smell all over the hotel and especially in our room, it seems the hotel was partly renewed at the end of 2022 and in 2023 works still in progress. There is only ONE, SINGLE person WC for men and ONE, SINGLE person WC for women per ENTIRE the hotel. Our room had no additional bathroom/WC space, a shower cabin was placed just between the TV and a window and a water sink was inside a built-in wardrobe. It was not comfortable to take a shower when other people are sleeping. There is no any special ventilation for shower, one must open a window, and in winter it is not comfortable. The door lock in our room 8 was broken and it was impossible to close it from inside a room. Likely, it was hard but possible to close it from outside. Hotel services reacted to my complaints but did not fix it, only took my time. The TV in our room did not work and it was not fixed during a week of our stay. There is no reception in a hotel, the only contact to the owner is via a phone. The restaurant "Half chicken" at the ground floor is from another owner and missing a proper ventilation. Therefore, all the time a fresh paint smell was mixed with a roasted chicken smell in our room. Very weak WiFi access. We arrived to the hotel late in the evening and it took us around 40 min to get keys: a PIN that I got with a reservation at booking.com did not match the lock box (might be it did not expected?) Furthermore, we got a PIN idea from a hotel owner via a phone, it did not match either. Finally, Ronaldo drove to the hotel and opened a box with a magnet key. Then, it was too late searching a nice restaurant, we only had chance to enjoy a "Half chicken" canteen style.
