Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Only that the restaurant and bar were closed for refurbishment - but what we could see of the building work looked very promising.
Deceptively large and modern hotel behind an historic, traditional building facade. Welcoming and friendly staff. Centrally located in the heart of the old town. Decor was very clean and fresh with comfortable furniture and beds.

WiFi was quite good downstairs but in the room the quality alternated between poor and fair. There were few hot options at breakfast although what was provided was extremely good.
Hotel was full of character. Very close to the old town and the bus station. Room was large and comfortable with excellent bathroom. Staff were always cheerful and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. Breakfast was very good.

Very clean room. Silent, even out to the street side. Although check in is announced to be only until 8pm, I could check in 8:30pm. Friendly reception during check-in. Silent elevator 5 meters away from the room door. Air condition very effective.

The bed was OK, not as comfortable as other hotels I’ve stayed…and the pillows were a bit small, but otherwise a great place to stay.
Perfect location to walk to all the fabulous sites, restaurants and shops. The room was very lovely, clean and air conditioned. Could have used a couple more pillows. The breakfast was excellent…something for everyone…and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

Room rather austere, no slippers or bathrobe. No minibar or coffee machine. Breakfast quite decent but could offer more variety.

I couldn’t figure out how to get the room cool. I did not ask though until my last day because I kept forgetting.
The staff and ambiance were exceptional. It is a charming place to stay and walking distance to several key locations. Everything in the hotel had a touch of class! Even the daily croissants and water in the lobby were such a treat!

Nothing. Maybe that the resturant was closed for renovations after the Christmas season but wasn't an issue.
Everything. Especially the bed which was the most comfortable we have slept in in Germany. It's spotless. The cleaning staff are a credit to this hotel. Have stayed in hotels all over the world the Messerschmitt is by far the cleanest and most comfortable hotel we have had the pleasure to visit.

A littledisappointing that the restaurant/bar was closed for our stay and probably till summer. Plenty of places close by, but would've been nice to have a relaxing area in the hotel.
Good breakfast, lovely staff and a very pleasant area next to the garden. Hotel location very good, close to the centre and the bus station, taxi rank. Rooms are spacious and light and we had a very quiet spot.
