How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Excellent breakfast with a lot of choices of fresh products. The pool was just magnificent, we really enjoyed it. Our family room was very pleasant with two bedrooms connected.

Our room was very warm and had no air-conditioning, even though it was only spring and around 18 degrees outside.The windows could be opened, but our room was located right next to the road, which was quite noisy!
The family room was nice and clean. Especially the adjoining kids room was nicely decorated. The pool was nice for a swim (keep in mind that the opening times are limited, because it is used for local swimming lessons during the day!). The sauna was great as well.

The beds were a bit hard for our liking (we have a small posture), the hallways were a bit noisy and the breakfast buffet felt a bit small and limited for the amount of guests. Minor inconveniences though.
Highlight of this place is the friendly and cheerful staff, we felt very welcome. Also the swimming pool was delightful after a long drive, especially for the kids. We had a very nice dinner for a reasonable price. Breakfast was also good. The (deluxe family) room was comfortable and recently decorated. Everything everywhere was sparkling clean. And unlike some other reviews we didn’t spot a single fly inside? Just a few minutes from the autobahn this is an excellent address for a stopover.

The owner has a very poor attitude towards guests. Quite baffling, considering that he and his partner run the place.
The rooms, the facilities, the staff and the food were great. We visited Bremen and Hamburg from here and came back to relax at the pool.

Very nice deal, big room, lovely pool for some relaxing time after a long day of driving. Good Location not far from highway. Nice restaurant for dinner. Good breakfast. Very nice staff at breakfast. Our room in the same building as the swimming pool was a bit old fashioned in style (eighties in style I think), so was the bathroom, but very spacious. comfortable and clean. Nice to have a mosquito screen on window. We got a very good deal through booking and we were very content. Good value for money

Nothing, this was a really pleasant break from a long drive home after being held up getting across Hamburg. We would certainly stay here again and break the journey even if there were no holdups on the roads.
Beautifully clean and well maintained, lovely helpful people, 10 minutes off the motorway, really good and good value breakfast, lovely pool too.

The staff was not that flexible, we arrived with a group of 6 adults and 6 children and there was a misunderstanding concerning the number of required baby beds. We needed 2 baby beds, but they already placed 3 and were not eager to take one back. As we didn't feel like arguing we agreed with the 3 beds and thus an extra charge.
Nice family room with separated rooms. We also enjoyed the swimming pool.

The staff was not very welcoming or friendly. In the matter of fact, we felt judged at the dinner table as our very young children were loud and quite restless due to long traveling. Therefore, I cannot recommend this place for families with young children. Also, the rooms are not soundproof.

We were assigned a very nice large room. As it was on an upper floor and quite warm in August, this room had air conditioning which allowed for a very good sleep. Super comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. After a long day of driving, we loved sitting on the pretty terrace and drinking cold drinks before dinner. We appreciated that dinner was available beginning at 5 PM. Parking was convenient and easy. This was one of the best accommodations we have stayed in in a long time.
