At check-out we were unexpectedly charged 15 EUR per night for our dog. While most hosts clearly state that pets are allowed and either don’t charge extra or apply only a small fee (usually around 5–7 EUR), 15 EUR felt excessive. It would have been much fairer if this cost had been clearly communicated in advance, rather than revealed only at check-out.

The room was of standard size, clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and good Wi-Fi.

No fridge, safe, cutlery, broom or brush in the room. Very few closets and shelves for belongings. The attic floor was inconvenient for a family with two children and two cats. I didn’t enjoy the breakfast overall, and we weren’t allowed to take a couple of pancakes for the children to go.

The room lacks amenities, like comb, toothbrush, etc The staff lacks some training, I can understand a young crew but some standards should be in place, for instance i was about to be doubled billed if I didn't objected to it. There are very few snacks or eating options of you arrive late in the evening.

The room was spacious, clean, well put and confortable. The bed was soft and I had a very good night. The breakfast had a good variety and quality. My pet was well received.

There is a switch for electricity in the room. We accidentally switched it off at night and our mobiles did not charge. Be careful with it.

Room was spacious with 2 single beds, tv and bathroom. We had a bathtube in the bathroom, which was great. Everything was clean. Breakfast was amazing, buffet style with everything you can imagine.

The hotel's description says it has air-con. Good marketing:/ not in every room, my mistake, I booked in a hurry :( with 30 degrees outside and even more inside the room we had to pay extra and switch rooms.

The building is starting to show it's age. An updating to the rooms, especially the bathroom would be ideal.

The pillows were too thick. The breakfast was nice, but the potatoes quality on Friday were disappointing.

One of my favorite hotels in Dresden. The best pillows and a nice breakfast with a lovely view. However, this time the pillow was changed to a classical hotel version - thick pillow that puts your head in an almost vertical position. Additionally, the breakfast on Friday was confusing; it seemed like the fried potatoes from yesterday's breakfast were just reheated and served again. Everyone knows the taste of yesterday's fried potatoes - like shoe soles.

There is no free parking at the hotel. Probably because most of the parking it's used by police cars and vans. Only very expensive underground parking.

I had to book two rooms at 8pm for that same night and the lady on the phone was extremely nice and helpful when I called with a few questions. Our dog was not only welcome to stay but even got a bag of treats at check in! The room was very quiet.

Usually I have a room that faces the city of Dresden. For this visit, I was facing the opposite direction, so there was no view. That was the only think I did not like about this particular visit.

This is my third time staying here and I have always been happy with my experience. For me, the location is perfect, but for those travelers who want to be in the altstadt or city center, this would not be a good location. It is a 25 Euro taxi ride to the altstadt. However, the location was perfect for me because I don't like driving and parking in big cities. They have a great underground parking garage, restaurant and bar. The breakfast is very good as well. The employees are very friendly and the WiFi works great.
