Town was a bit deserted in the winter. I expected to be able to eat in the restaurant in the hotel, but it seems to have been closed for some while and only open for dinner occasionally. There are not many restaurants open in this village (probably due to wintertime). WIFI is not password protected, but works okay most of the time.

Rooms are nice and clean. It's very quiet in the hotel. Considering the low price for the one person bed room, it's a wonderful place to stay. Sufficient parking space. They serve a continental breakfast with your choice of eggs freshly made. A good Italian restaurant is within walking distance. And in the next town (approx. 6-7 km) they have a few more places to eat. Also a good Italian and a few kebab houses. I can definitely recommend this hotel.

We had exceptionally hot weather, Germany like the UK seems to be not set-up for really hot weather. No room fan or A/C. Wi-fi was free (good), a little bit patchy in our room. Restaurant was closed several nights, however the adjacent hotel had a restaurant that was open so not a major issue. Generally in this area (small towns on Mosel) dinner service ends really early at 8pm and last order drinks 10ish. That's not a negative on the hotel, just the way it is here. Note: Cochem / Koblenz / burg eltz over 1 hour drive away. No coffee making facility in the room or mini fridge.

Comfortable bed and large bathroom and bedroom. Large opening windows to let in cool air. Breakfast being included made it good value. Great service at breakfast. Pleasant location and view of the Mosel and vineyards.

Hotel location is really good, overlooking the Moselle. We stayed in the annex building which was not a problem. We arrived on a Thursday which was a day off for the staff and they waited for us which I thought was excellent. Thank you. Good breakfast and plenty of parking available. Good supermarket opposite the annex and all last minute shopping completed!

Our rooms ,although large were in the basement. They were dark and airless. The furniture was very old.

Friendly staff. Good food. Lovely position on the banks of the Mosel. Great bus service.

The staff were very friendly and spoke some English, which was helpful for me. The room had everything I needed. The location was great - right by the water. And it had a restaurant, which was very convenient. Great breakfast - big pot of coffee, scrambled eggs, cheeses, meats, fruit salad, breads, etc.

Credit cards are not accepted. We were not surprised as that is quite often the case in Germany. However, some people may be caught out

The hotel's location, facing the river Mosel and easily accessible from the motorway, was for us ideal. After our long drive from the UK the hotel (and Mehring itself) was perfect for a relaxing evening. The restaurant was welcoming and there was a good choice of tasty food. On warmer days the terrace with views of the river was a good place for coffee and cake. All staff were friendly and helpful. Our room, not in the main building, was very spacious with a large balcony. Wifi was good. We have stayed several times at this hotel and hope to do so again before long.

Nothing - perfect stay.

Extremely comfortable beds - it is rare for me to fall asleep in a hotel during just one overnight stay. Nicely rich, good weighted duvet and high-quality mattresses meant we fell asleep quickly and had a refreshing rest. No wonder this pace is a hit with bicycle riders, the plaque said, a winner of "Bike and Bett" awards.We were chaperoned to our rooms, which were ultra clean, fresh and pleasant. I am so glad I chose this place. Breakfast was exactly what you needed: nice variety and topped up timely by a caring staff. No doubt I would return. Best regards Slav Litwin
