They were closed for dining on a Wednesday evening. Therefore it was necessary to find somewhere else.

There was very good selection of good quality food. All was prepared and presented to a high standard. The service was first class. The view from the dining area overlooked the Mosel.

We liked everything.

Hotel is surrounded by wonderful scenery. Our room was very spacious and had a great view. The whole hotel was sparkling clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a lovely terrace where we had dinner in the evening. The menu is not extensive but food was tasty and the wine was superb. Very nice breakfast in the morning. Parking was no problem.

An Exceptional Stay in the Heart of Mosel Valley! Wow! Our stay at this hotel truly exceeded all expectations. Having stayed at thousands of hotels across 50+ countries, this was our third visit to the Mosel Valley, and it was undoubtedly the most memorable. From the moment we arrived by car, we knew we were in for a special experience. The warm welcome from the owner set the tone for our stay. We were promptly shown to our room, which was tastefully designed with carefully selected décor that created a perfect blend of modern comfort and preserved heritage. We stayed in Room 10, a lovely suite with both a living room and bedroom, offering a breathtaking view of the Mosel River. The room was impeccably clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully refreshed, maintaining a charming mix of old and new. Parking was conveniently available just outside, free of charge. Breakfast, served from 9 to 10:30, was a delightful spread, offering everything we wanted—sandwiches, eggs, salmon, cheeses, hams, fresh fruit, and more. The staff was always available, easily reachable via a phone number in the reception, ensuring we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. For dinner, we enjoyed a delicious meal—Wienerschnitzel and prawn pasta—that was of excellent quality. The wine, produced from the hotel’s own winery, complemented the meal perfectly, and we even had the option to taste some of their wines during our stay. The location is simply stunning—nestled among the vineyards and within close proximity to some of the region’s finest winemakers. Whether you're coming from Luxembourg (just 2 hours away) or planning to explore further afield (4 hours to Champagne), this hotel makes for the ideal base to enjoy the beauty of the Mosel Valley. In summary, everything about our stay was wonderful, and we highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting the region. We can’t wait to return!

The surroundings of Piesport are very beautiful but there is not much to do in the town. The restaurant is nice with a good variety of the owner's own wines. Easy to find parking but the hotel itself has only a few places.

Breakfast was minimal and cornflakes stale but eggs were cooked to order Our room was a little small which was fine for a night small en-suite

On the Mosel and typical German architecture with lovely views from the patio. Check in was super and so was the lady.

the stairs to the entrance with my big luggage. Restaurant and wine tasting closed. Room and reception in separate buildings.

The Lady of the house did everything herself including check-in, check-out, breakfast. Nice location in the old Piesport and easy car park.
