My room was a bit dated, but functional. I couldn’t keep the balcony door open though as the smell of cigarette smoke from the patio below was coming in.

The breakfast was very good with a lot of choice. I had an evening meal which was also good. The staff were very friendly and helpful as I don’t speak German.

The room was spacious enough but the decoration was outdated. We did receive a room without carpet but the furniture looked old fashioned.

There were few parking places right in front of the hotel and we found a place to park there. The breakfast was fine with good selection of food. On the second night we could enjoy the sauna.

I thought there was going to be a car park but there was only spaces in the front of the hotel. There was no air conditioning and the shower door was broken.

There is an older section which you should try to avoid. Ask for the new section.

What I like most about the facility is the location. It's located directly next to a park and has garden of it's own. The breakfast area is very nice and the breakfast was very good.

It was a little more expensive than other places we've stayed but it was a very last min booking for the same night as we weren't able to make it to the precooked place, so in an emergency the rate was acceptable!

When we arrived the staff were friendly and helpful and even went out of her way to show us where we could park our van as there was no spaces outside. The room was really big and was very clean and comfortable.

friendly staff, convenient location within walking distance of park and old town as well as walks within vineyards and forest. nice view from room balcony. parking outside hotel with convenient night entrance for carrying luggage up. large room (suite). suite was £90 which is still £20 cheaper than the smallest room in hotel next door of same age and style - great value for money. did not take breakfast. there is a large bakery to sit in located right next to hotel with large windows. interior is a bit dated but does the job and ist clean.

    See above

Checked in early. Staff was nice at desk. Went room 101 and no ceiling lights. Turnedon bathroom light and took down shade on ceiling light to find both bulbs burnt out. Turned wall light on next to bed and found shade full of spider webs and dust. Balcony was a disaster!! Crumbled up astro screens turf and debris. Paint transferred to my hand from railing. Bathroom was disgusting!!! Shower door didn’t slide and caulking was dirty. Toilet seat loose, no hot water from sink faucet, exhaust fan filter was full of lint and mold. Had to remove it. The next morning I wanted to shower only to discover ther was no hot water and after a half hour, it was 20 degrees. Ther was more wrong bu I am tiered of writing. Someone needs to fire the manager and maintenance personnel. €44 was a good price to get me in the door but not to sleep in a dog house. The manager should be ashamed!

It’s best to request rooms in the newer since the older wing is a little dated.

The location is very good. It’s located directly on a park, close to a thermal bath and restaurant. It also has a nice terrace where you can sit to relax and read or whatever.

This is a noisy hotel. We were given room on the front, overlooking a busy road, so we asked for a room at the back looking over the garden. The staff gave us this, but then we had noise from the beer garden and loud drinking parties. Seems this is just a noisy hotel. Room was very small, and balcony was very dirty....

The staff were great, but the hotel was pretty poor

Where to start! Avoid ion you need to use the lift as you can only access it via steps at the front to the hotel and that is closed from 21:30 most night and earlier on others. So if you are disabled you have to be in your room by 21:30 or you can't get to it!!! We booked 2 rooms, and paid the extra to ensure we had a balcony and view of the Kurpark - we got a view of the tops of the trees opposite the Kurpark from a very small balcony with a high step up to it. You could only see the Kurpark if you stood up. My bed was broken and when I told the staff their response was that theirs was, too! We had to move rooms 3 times during our stay to get the view we booked and/or a bed that wasn't broken and that was only for part of the stay and only because I was very insistent. they kept trying to fob us off with "we are fully booked". When we went to check out they tried to charge us for clean linen when we changed rooms - we stayed 2.5 weeks! I would have expected a change of linen anyway and as we had to move because they had mis-sold the rooms I refused to pay that. It took us 1 hour to check out as they were not happy with this or that I refused to pay £20 per night for an 'upgrade' to a suite to get the views we were shown on the Booking.com website for the rooms that we booked. The breakfast was charged at 12.90 Euros per head and was not great. There was no bread or toast. We were told there was only bread a the weekend and one day they left dry, stale slices of bread out. The bread rolls were lovely. If you didn't go early enough the eggs were cold - both boiled and scrambled, which were the only options. There was a selection of cold meat and cheeses and some healthier options as well. The coffee was good as was the fruit juice and the jams. The romo cleaning consisted the cleaning the toilet and wiping surfaces in the bathroom.

Location was great as it is adjacent to the KurPark. That was the best thing about our stay and the only thing that was really good.
