We were unlucky that our stay was on trash collection day so we were woken up in the morning. The towels saw better days, but it was not a big deal for us.

The host was very friendly and the room was simple but we had everything we needed and more. Breakfast had variety of choices and everything was fresh and tasty. Rooms were clean and with great view. Free parking with enough spaces next the pension. It's a great cozy place, with just a dozen of rooms. There are various shops/restaurants etc. nearby. Great place to stop-by while exploring Black Forest!

No open restaurant or bar in the whole village which meant takeaway was needed, but this delivery service was not reliable as our food came with the incorrect order.

Hotel was a little dated but very clean and comfortable. The bar and snack system the host has organised is great with a well stocked bar and fridge. The host was amazing - nothing was too much trouble - Dave even drove me to the cash machine to withdraw cash so I could pay for takeaway meal. Nice balcony with stunning views. Breakfast was amazing with lots of foods on offer- better than most continental breakfasts we've eaten.

If traveling with heavy luggage, I recommend having your own vehicle as the pension is located higher uphill from the local bus stop and may be challenging to walk there.

The view from the Pension Williams were stunning and the rooms were cozy and had a lovely atmosphere. The owners David and Angela are spectacular hosts and do their best at making visitors feel at home whether it is a nice chat at breakfast or hearing stories about the local community. There are some really nice walking trails nearby as well as a short hike to the local beer garden. All in all it was a great stay!

The hotel is located in a fairly small town with few facilities and both local restaurants were closed for refurbishment which was purely our bad luck with timing.

The hotel is in a beautiful location with amazing views across the valley to the woods and hills opposite and wonderfully quiet. The patron was extremely helpful and informative, which was great as we hadn't visited the area before. A nice touch was the honesty fridge/bar which was well stocked with a good variety of drinks and snacks. There was ample parking, which although not secure was in direct view of all rooms and well away from the main road. The hotel was also ideally situated to explore the B500 road, a significant attraction for motorists and also close to many woodland walks.

This was our second stay at Pension Williams, we knew what to expect and were not disappointed. We love this location for a stop as we get to the Black Forest. Such lovely views from the balcony, rooms are good sizes and the breakfast is always a good start to the day before hitting the twisties of the nearby B500.

What a beautiful location! We loved waking up to the beautiful mountains and all the gardens. Our Innkeeper and his wife were super accommodating, We loved talking with them and learning more about the area and all the places to visit. Their dog, Robbie, was such a sweetie too.

The owner is a dream! We came along with a trailer and he helped personally to store it at the yard. Even our dog has got a welcome snack🤗🌻❣️. The view from the balcony into the valley is wonderfull😉 We will definitelly come back again
