We had a double bed, but with separate mattress. Very annoying, cause the mattresses kept going apart, and we had a big gap in between. Also the bathrooms are a bit smelly, although ours was freshly renovated.

The Breakfast was very good. Good you had a good variety between sweet and savory breakfast. Fresh fruit everyday. The Views in our room were exeptional. We had room 9 and I think room 9&10 were the rooms with the best views. We had a good look at both castles. Nice view to wake up to every morning. Services were good aswell. Location was perfect for tourists who want both. On the one side it was 3min to Neuschwanstein castle with car/bus. Or you’ll take a 15min walk. Also a 15 min walk to the schwansee. A nice small lake, with exceptional views. If you want to experience more of Füssen, that’s also no problem. We always took the bus 78 who took 4 min to Füssen Trainstation. From there you can reach the city in no time. You could also walk to the city in about 30min. Also near was the Kristall-Therme. We took the bus 73 but you can also walk from the property.

The main problem was the flies in the bar/restaurant areas. A few fly control measures would have sufficed and made it more pleasant to eat and drink without being bothered by them.

The location was good for what we wanted. It was a bit basic, with just one person on duty, doing all jobs it seemed. He was pleasant enough though and tried to accommodate all our requests.

Nice, clean room in a good neighborhood. Free parking. Friendly, helpful staff, generous breakfast. 20 min walk to the parking lot near Neuschweinstein castle. You can also take a bus if you don't want to walk. 5 min drive to the nearest supermarket.

Staff spoke no English, and apparently left the premises each evening. Only one other guest in the entire building.

Very convenient to two castles. We walked to them from the hotel. Quiet location, but close to town and restaurants, etc.

The breakfast is ok only, discounter stuff, I disliked the heaps of plastic (little Marmelade, honey, butter) portion packings, so all ok but not too tasty. The street to Hohenschwangau is directly at the house, at night quite silent, but on the day it's used. There was a really bad smell in both of the bathrooms. Not sure if the price is ok for the region, it seems high to me.

Awesome view directly on the 2 castles nearby (Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau). We had the rooms under the roof. The staff is very nice!! Parking is at the property, so all easy!

The owner was only speaking German, which is a pity for such a touristic place with people from all the world. Therefore interaction was minimum and difficult, event if the owner was trying his best.

Excellent view of the castle from our balcony. Great restaurant in lobby, pasta is a must try. Stay included a bus pass for each guest in the room.

The carpet was old and stained, which is a serious thing. The building is a also bit old, the staff didn't speak English, and the shower enclosure was really small. Besides that, everything was great.

Great hotel. The location was absolutely perfect, just 1km to the castles (I even went back from them walking once). The breakfast was great and the rooms were big and comfy. The parking was also great, the same level as the rooms.

Excellent breakfast and modern room/bathroom. The location was closest to the castles and in between Schwangau and Fussen with a bus stop to both towns very close to the hotel. Across the street was a walking/cycling path to the castles.

The mattresses were a little stiff and the pillows needed some layering but overall not bad at all.

The hotel manager was nice, he made sure I knew all the times for breakfast and dinner. The hotel room was clean, and my room had a balcony that had a wonderful view of the mountains. They have a parking lot as well if you drive in. Everything in town is about a 10 minute journey in every direction whether it’s downtown to restaurants, to the castles, or the lakes. Overall I thought of it more as a bed and breakfast, vibe wise, a really peaceful place in the mountains.

The most disappointing thing that although booking price includes all taxes, hotel required extra payment for taxes, please keep it in mind If you are going to book this accommodation. Also there’s no kettle in the room. Room is cold, especially floor in the bathroom.
