    All good

Lovely hotel. Staff very helpful. Very clean, shower was good, bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great. Lots of choices. Used the terrace outside to have a glass of wine. Good selection to purchase at very reasonable prices. Very close to train station and bus station so very convenient. The location of this hotel is excellent. Highly recommended.

It would have been nice to have a different options for pillows. We found them a bit too soft.

Very clean room and welcoming staff. I had a dietary requirement for breakfast and they were kind enough to go out of their way to make sure I had something to eat. The location is only a 10 minute walk from the promenade and restaurants.

We had a lovely stay, staff was super friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was well organised, although more vegan options would be welcome, maybe something like vegan yoghurt? The room was nice and clean, nice bathroom. The only thing I can think of is that the pillows were a bit too soft, it felt like a lot of the filling was lost. Other than that a perfect stay at Villa Cuchema.

There was nothing we didn't like.

What a gem this hotel is. We travelled to Cochem by motorcycle from England. Stayed in Belgium en route. We got to the hotel after check in time, but had a number to phone. Instructions were easy and straightforward and we were able to get our room keys. Great secure garage for our motorcycles. Our room was large and very clean. In fact the hotel was spotless throughout. We especially loved the communal terrace at the back of the hotel, which looked over the River Moselle. We could take our drinks there and enjoy the atmosphere. The breakfast, which was included with the room charge was amazing. All the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable of the area and spoke perfect English. The hotel was a short walk from the centre of Cochem. We will definitely be visiting this hotel again in the future and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful 4 night stay.

Found that the address was for the front of the house of the smaller street but parking was better approached behind the house from the main street - at least it was well sign posted. And I had looked at Google maps first.

I enjyed the fact that the hotel was a few minutes walk from the main area of the town. It was an easy few minutes to either walk along the riverside or cut in va the road that directly goes into the centre of town. Even though I was arriving after check in time, clear instructions were sent to me, so I was able to collect my key and get settled in quickly. I had a single room, it was clean and tidy, with lovely big windows to keep the view available. The room had tea and coffee making facilities but no fridge. I found on the website of the hotel that they stated that there was motorbike and bicycle parking - this was not as clear on the Booking.com but it was greatly appreciated for secure parking of my motorbike. The breakfasts were amazing, fresh bread, lovely selection of things and tasted great. My host was lovely and friendly and helpful. There was a small corner shop nearby for a few basic items, or a walk approx 10 minutes to Penneys supermarket for anything more substantial. The outside terrace was a welcome respite from a busy day - either a very reasonably price wine bottle from our host's selection or you could bring your own tea/coffee/wine/drink up and watch the water flow by and see the Cochem Castle lit up in the evening. Just watch the biting insects! Highly recommend and planning on returning one day.

    Nothing to point out!

Bedroom was beautiful, spacious and clean! Great location, less than 10m walking to the city centre. Beautiful view to the river :) The hotel has a very nice terrace that you can see the river from. Little details that are nice, for example umbrellas for guests to take if it's raining. Overall very pleasant!

the room requires some renovation, e.g. when you walk in the room the floor sways and the wardrobe also sways. It is not critical, anyway we spend most of the time outside parking can be tricky, we were lucky to find the place but usually it was the last one

great location - very close to the city center nice staff the building inside remained me one of my favourite movies - "Das Leben der Anderen". parking next to the building

Our room was at the top of the hotel so we had to trek up a couple of flights of stairs each time we went to our room.

The hotel has lovely views of the river. It is a charming building and weel maintained. There is a Wine / Beer cooler in the entrance. The breakfast was typically German and plent of it. Lovely. The owners and staff are really lovely and hospitable people.

Very nice room overlooking the Moselle. Clean! The owner very accommodating and helped us get out and on the road our last day. Honor bar in the lobby if you need wines or beers. No elevator, but not an issue for us. One of the best breakfasts on our trip ... very pleasant breakfast room. Fresh fruits every day [unusual on this trip!] and eggs cooked to order. They prefer cash at checkout. Shout out to the Weinhaus Hieronomi just a few blocks away and across the bridge -- excellent wine tasting in German and English.

Everything. Very close to the train station and also the town center. Breakfast was great! It was not the same every morning which was good. There were even vegan options. A variety of fresh fruits and vegtables every morning. The staff were super friendly. That is what I like about boutique/small hotels. The experience is much more on a personal level. As if you were all friends in a way. The room was stylishly decorated just like the rest of the building. The interior seems to be new. The bed was really comfy. Had a lovely stay and will definitely book again.

There was not a single thing I disliked. Not one. Well, perhaps except for having to leave :) But there are two things "by design", which may be a disadvantage to some people and worth noting consciously: there is no air conditioning and no elevator, so bear that in mind when booking.

I liked absolutely everything about Villa Cuchema and my stay there. The building is nice, quiet and cosy, with a terrace available to all guests. It is also very conveniently located for travelling by train, and train is a way to see much more of the Moselle valley than just the town of Cochem - you can be at the platform within 5 minutes of locking your door (probably less if you have your room downstairs). Our room was very comfortable, on the second floor, with a large double bed and a third separate bed. Mattress comfort is always a personal thing, but I was very satisfied and so was my family. Room size was very good for a holiday accomodation, so was the bathroom, with fresh, modern look. I had a river view from the window, although some rooms have windows towards the hill too. Room was provided with an electric kettle and a hair dryer. In the corridor, there is a refrigerator full of beer, wine and some other drinks available for guests at reasonable prices. Even though there was no air conditioning, the room was cool enough with the temperatures approaching 30 C, and an electric fan was provided. The crew is relatively small, but charming, with kind words to all the guests and some extra smiles for kids. They even made sure that after the daily (if you so wish) room cleaning my son's plush toy would lie comfortably in bed (!). This level of friendliness and charm! Breakfasts were excellent, with very good fresh bread (especially breadrolls were delicious), large variety of cold cuts and cheeses and some other stuff, as well as scrambled and hard boiled eggs. Excellent coffee is served to each table too. It's possible to make a takeaway package for a small fee. As the crew is small, the reception is not open 24/7, but if you arrive when the staff are not there, you will get your key in a small box opened by a code at the very entrance to the building; relevant instructions came by Booking.com chat.

We would love to have had access to a fridge so we could keep a few food or drink items cold during our stay. They did, however, have cold drinks available for you to purchase.

The breakfast was great and staff was very accommodating. On the day of our departure, we had to leave early so they packed a bag breakfast for us to take with us - it was perfect! They also did our laundry…..what amazing service.
