Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyWe didn't like the sound insulation because we woke up quite early because of the loud laughter which was coming from the nearest room.
The location is great! Just 15 minutes walk from the Albrechtsburg Castle. Parking is free at the weekend. The room was clean and tidy.

Pension is located close to the railway station and to the old part of Meisen. Quiet area. Nice, modern and elegant room. Easy to use and accesible key box at the entry. Fast contact with staff through chat.

CanadaThe walls in the room could do with fresh paint because of gouge marks and carpet stains. No grab bar in the shower, easy to slip, especially if more elderly.
Appealingly decorated room with clean bathroom and nice clean, fresh, crisp white sheets...very important. The breakfast buffet was very good, plenty of choice and also healthy foods, friendly staff.

PolandWater leaked from the shower to the floor in bathroom (personel said it can't be fixed, they offered extra towels). The room was quite clean, but there was quite a lot of dust - like it was cleaned some time ago and nobody stayed in it for a week or so. The room itself is very small and we were prepared to that, but the bathroom is a little too much in terms of low space - to open the door when you are inside, you have to move next to the sink or toilette...
Nice and responsive personel. Great check-in procedure using box with keys opened with code send earlier. There is a place to leave bikes (not too big though). There is also a public parking just next to the place (paid 5 euro per day and free on weekends).
