Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

GermanyWe arrived mid day. all lights at the whole place out. cold lobby and breakfast area. Musty smell like in grandmas basement. When booking we expected 70s vibes but not actually a place that seems nobody visited or took care of it since the 70s. We kindly asked to cancel our reservation but only got excuses and misunderstanding.

GermanyTo everyone who plans to stay at this Hotel please be aware of the following experiences I had with my Family. We were 4 Adults planning to stay just for one night, but by entering the Lobby I smelled a strong Mold - Mildew stink. We noticed only one other older couple staying at this hotel. We asked to see the Room and and noticed the same stink. Stuffy old furniture smell. Something you pull out of the Basement after 20 or 30 years. The pictorial view provided by the Family owners of this Hotel does not represent the reality. Why am I writing this, because it needs to be known. I will explain further. This hotel is being offered with a 1970 nostalgia look. The Hotel has the original unchanged 1970 Interior - Rooms and Lobby etc., The interior is over 50 years old and smells like a wet dog or Basement. The Mold and Mildew Oder has penetradet after 50 years throughout the whole hotel. We travel extensively and say: 1970 flair is wonderful, but should not stink like 1970 old MILDEW. The Hotel itself is kept clean. The 50 years of not heating and Business at a stand still has provided a ground for Mildew bacteria to grow. This stink will penetrate your closing and everything you where when you leave the hotel. We did not stay and requested a refund for the payment I made and I still waiting for. So far they refuse to refund my money.
Peaceful location if you like to have a retirement Hotel. I choose the Hotel by the picture provided from the owners of the Hotel at Booking.com and was Disappointed.
