Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwedenAs previous guests have noted, the hotel’s restaurant is sometimes closed. According to staff, each week they decide whether to keep it open based on if there are conference guest or not. However, the hotel is centrally located, so there are other restaurants to choose from about a 10-minute walk away.
Our room’s AC wasn’t working properly when we arrived, and after we waited a few hours while having dinner out in town, we were offered to move to another room as the hotel staff had determined that it wasn’t cooling adequately.

IndiaThe housekeeping staff was weird. The person knocked on the door at 10:30 am, 30 minutes before the checkout and just demanded he needed to clean the room without asking anything or requesting it. Bathroom in our room was very small.
Location: The hotel is in a very good location just 5 mins walk from Harburg Rathaus S-bahn stop. Its around 15-20 minutes by Sbahn S3 or S5 from Hamburg hauptbahnhof. In the vicinity of hotel there are many nice restaurants. Also, netto is nearby. The hotel room was clean and staff is very friendly and nice.

South AfricaThe rooms are very dated. Old school look. They could do with a upgrade. It said we would have a minibar but we didn't. There were glasses in our room but no water was left for us. There was also no kettle to make a basic cup of coffee.
The lobby and restaurant are all modern and clean. The staff are friendly and made the checking in and checking out process easy. We each got a key card for the room which made things a lot easier.
