I did get more street noise than anticipated, even though I was on the 5th floor. The air conditioning did provide me with "white noise" and that helped. They continue to install the new air conditioning on the fifth floor, but that will be completed soon.

My room was clean and I had a great view to the west of the Pfälzer Wald. The air conditioning is new and worked out fine. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices and you can not beat the 8th floor view. I really enjoyed that feature. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

We stayed for one night to go sightseeing and wine tasting in the Pfalz region, several of the places we wanted to visit (Bad Dürkheim, Deidesheim, Ruine Limburg) were easily reached by car. The room was clean and basic, with a bathroom way more spacious than I expected from the room size (excellent shower, btw!). Breakfast buffet is in the restaurant at the top floor of the building, offering a great panorama over the city and the surrounding vineyards. Very friendly staff at reception and in the restaurant, ample choice at the breakfast buffet.

The restaurant has fantastic view and the food was excellent; very fresh and very well cooked.

A little further out from the main station and old town, but only a 15-20 min walk so not too bad.

The rooms are large and clean, no frills but perfectly adequate for a couple of nights stay. The staff were friendly and the bar staff kindly sorted me out with something to eat even though their kitchen had closed.

No wardrobe in room and no coat hangers. Lacked a fridge for cold drinks which would have been useful given the heat of summer

The room was very big and had a sofa, writing table and small table and chairs as well as a very large bed and bathroom with shower. No aircon but a fan was provided.

It seems like the lift needs some maintenance.

The location and especially the view were very good. Many thanks to Muhammed at the reception made the reservation and helped us, especially when we arrived at the hotel in the evening. And many thanx and the next morning to reception a Macedonian gentleman whose name I cannot remember They are very helpful. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to everyone.

Nothing to dislike

An excellent hotel in very good condition. Comfortable bed,hot shower.Easy to communicate with Reception who spoke good English. Plenty of parking. Easy walking distance to the historic centre, shops and restaurants. Excellent breakfast with lots of choices on the eighth floor with fabulous views.

Nice Hotel a bit outdated but okay. Vieuw should be nice but didn't notice because i arrived and left in darkness. Restaurant in top of the building is okay, not much visitors during my stay. Food was okay, friendly staff. I visited this hotel out off season; I guess there will be more dynamic in summer / spring.

I miss having tea making facilities in the room and this is the first place I have ever stayed in that didn’t have any. There was a tea making machine in reception which is not at all convenient, also it was t working. Also on arrival I was told I had not paid, and the same on m departure. Each time I correct as I had paid online the week before.

I had an evening meal in the restaurant and the staff were lovely helping regarding the menu, I am celiac.

It was noisy, people taking outside doors until 1or 2 am, the room doors slamming really loud to be closed. I could also hear the lift. Not enough car park spaces.

Good location as family lives close by. Lovely view.

Uncomfortable pillows, shower head cannot be fixed in place, bathroom fittings at least 40 years old, major construction work with long cable duct in the hotel corridor, uncomfortable room, far too high price, which raised expectations that were not met.
