BelgiumYou have to pay the night before (which you would only know if you happened to read the information book in your room or if you can read a small sign, in German, behind the counter. Staff can appear rude if not used to Germany.
A Cozy stay with relatively friendly staff. It is just a woman and her son mostly running the place. The room was large, nice and warm (stayed in the winter) and the bathroom was large with a modern shower.

Lithuania- My room was pre-payed but i arrived next day that i was planed at 12:30, but for no reasons i told to wait outside for check in at 14:00. - There were no kettle inside the room. When i asked if i could get one - the owner say NO. - The hotel kas no contract for Koenigscard. - For some questions i had use google translater to translate in german becouse owner almost doesnt speak english. - In description there were write that room has twinbad but i got one with single bad.

Wifi has improved since last time. It's clean and comfy and breakfast is good.

In this evening was bad communication from reception side. When I arrived after 2200, at reception declare many times that it is bad that I was after 2200. I celt extremely bad after this.

Lovely old-fashioned hotel in the traditional style. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. Really quiet despite the proximity of the road. Excellent breakfast buffet.

United KingdomThe owner failed to give us our Guest Cards which we only found out about on the final day. This meant we spent 30 Euros each on local bus travel which should’ve been free. When we complained about this, she just said sorry with no offer of a solution.
The room suited our purpose and was very clean. The breakfast was varied and there was plenty of it. The view from our private balcony was amazing.

United KingdomThe biggest issue was the language barrier. The staff are barely speaking English. It caused problems during booking and stay, but it had never reached such a direct confrontation that they had with other customers in my present. It was simple annoying.. Miscommunication during booking increased tension between us. During stay I asked about ironing possibly and they showed me their business cleaning facilities in the main building where I ironed my shirts each day. The last day I found a nice ironing room in my building basement.... I like when the staff laugh with me... not on me with other German customers in the breakfast room when I tried to explain what I need with simplified English or broken German.. The hotel is nice, well located and clean, but I won't stay there, because of the staff behaviour.
