Everything was fairly good. For us, the stairs were no problem & we knew there was no washing machine, so we were up to date with laundry.

Uwe, the host, is right up there with the best we have experienced in Europe. Waiting kerbside when we arrived to direct us to our off street parking. There was a fridge full of complimentary breakfast & fresh buns outside the door each morning. We enjoyed his deadpan humour & hospitality. Nice 15 minute walk into the old town centre. The apartment was clean & airy.

Breakfast; The fridge was well stocked with eggs, cheese, ham, fruit, juice etc. Fresh bread/rolls were delivered every morning. The apartement was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped including coffee machine, filters and coffee powder. The apartment was very spacious with a balcony overlooking the garden. The location was great with a ten minute walk to the market square, and a twenty minute walk to the train station. Meissen has a beautiful old town centre and is a great place to explore, and a good place to base oneself for trips to Dresden (30min by train) and the surrounding countryside. Unfortunately we only had a week, ten days would have been better. We will be back.

Uwe and his wife were the best hosts that I encounter. On the arrival, Uwe was very kind to explain all the details about the key, parking, room, refrigerator, city discount, etc. The breakfast is kindly prepared and left on the refrigerator for the guest and consists of several options of juice, eggs, ham, jam and butter. The bread is freshly delivered by Uwe in the morning, making the mood very cozy and familiar. There is an option of buying additional drinks at the refrigerator at the main door for a fair price. The location is perfect since it is only a 10 minutes walk to the city center of Meissen. The rooms are big and excellent for a family. I would recommend this place for a quiet and nice rest time for visitors of the city. The parking was free of cost and the WIFi connection was very strong.

The place is amazing 😍 it's spacious, comfortable and spotless. Mr. Ulrich is extremely kind and pleasant person. The guesthouse is his family home and it's easy to feel how much he cherishes everything about it. It's relatively close to the center in a quiet place. The beds are comfortable and we slept like babies. Fresh bread and everything you need for a great breakfast were really good addition to the amicable service.

Really “perfect” stay: cleanliness of “hospital” standard, fantastic owner, who left full refrigerator of food for us, served table for breakfast like in nice restaurant, brought fresh bread in the morning. 10 of 10!
