How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The location is a bit far from restaurants if you need it in the evening (I knew it before, and therefore it was not a problem)
Great big, clean and quiet rooms. Nice breakfast. The staff was very helpful

Parking is adjacent to the building but it's 20€/per day, which is a lot. Staff could've been friendlier upon arrival, not even a smile, poor English, no information given pro-actively, I had to ask everything.
Very clean rooms, with nice touches in terms of bathroom requirements (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel,...). Good beds and proper shower. Although the room was not so spacious, it had a big screen TV, a fridge, and water coffee and tea was foreseen. Excellent breakfast.

Mosquitoes due to the nearby river (staff is aware of the problem, ask for a spray at check-in)
Amazing friendly staff, welcome drinks and snacks in the lobby and water plus tea and coffee in the room. Small snack and necessities shop at reception. Very comfortable bed, a big clean and quiet room. Nice light bathroom. Close to train station (10-15 minutes walk) one stop away from main railway station and two stops from airport. A huge supermarket and a pharmacy just across the street, delicious sandwich shop right on site. Safe and quiet neighbourhood.

There were so many mosquitoes in the room. I killed about 4 or 5 on the day of check-in, still had like 4 on check-out. The toilet looked dirty in the bottom (it's fine if it's just stained, but I couldn't tell). The shower head was leaking and we couldn't adjust the water stream so it was just a strong water jet in the middle of the shower head (also a bit of regular water jet). The water also would change temperature during shower but I guess that can happen sometimes. There was also no outlets next to bed (not that I could find at least)
The bed was great, room size was perfect and curtains blacked out the whole room, which is great

Being a hot evening, the air conditioning was very noisy and being directly over the hotel entrance, having the window open was even noisier
I've stayed at this hotel many times, breakfast always good and staff friendly.

There was no gym in the hotel.
very good hotel for business purpose as it was close to the location where we were having the event. I choose this hotel because I know the overall high quality of the hotel chain and it was well situated close to my event location.

The parking machine only accepts 5 and 10€ bills. The furniture and bathroom show signs of wear and tear throughout the years. A renovation might be needed sooner rather than later.
Very comfortable beds, friendly staff, safe and easy private paid parking. Located in a calm area in Niederrad, right in front of a supermarket.

Hotel was very good with respect to Staff, Cleanliness, Restaurant. But the lift ( Elevator) to the 4th Floor was not working. Except 4th Floor , for all other floors , the list was working. I have requested room in another floor, since I had Knee Pain, they have agreed and provided me a room in another floor. Location was good. It was very near to Main River.

Though we booked via the express check in, we had to wait a few minutes at the check in. I was hoping that there is a machine or something like that to give us our keys, so that we don't have to wait.
I like the fact that we have an option to do an express check in. This was supposed to reduce the waiting time when we arrive at the hotel. i also like that the hotel prepared a baby cot for us. the parking space was also large enough for our vehicle.
