Perfect spot for us. We travel through Europe feom time to time by car and need to stop around Dresden for a night with our dog. We found this hotel years ago, coming back cca. 4 times a year, because it’s in a very convenient location: we usually arrive late and no proper restaurant is open that time, so it’s even good to have the McDonalds at hand 😀 The room is always clean, prepared for the dog with bowls, a lovely bed and even a rope toy! ☺️ I just write to them while booking that we will arrive with our dog and they prep the room accordingly. Not sure if it’s intentional, but we usually her a room close to the end of the corridor, which is amazing! This way our always alert dog can relax better, without that many people walking by our door. Love the bathroom interior, I’ve seen so many stupid shower solutions in other hotels, which usually leak… but this one is just simply perfect with the shower screen opening inwards (towards the bathtub), so that the water can drop within the tub from the screen, not on the floor. So simple, yet so many other places get it wrong. The staff is super nice, I always love when they say hi to our dog 🙂

We had a situation where we were concerned when we came back and found our hotel room open. We went down to the front desk to ask someone to accompany us to check the room because we were two women travelling together and were scared, but for some reason the person at the desk started arguing with us and took a while before accepting to help us, which I thought was strange. Nothing was missing in the room and nothing came out of that, but I was surprised that this person was at first unwilling to help. Outside of this I do have to say that the staff were very friendly and helpful.

All the basics were covered. The location is a short walk to the tram and the S-Bahn (though not exactly central or "in" either the old or new city). We used the sauna every day and basically had it to ourselves, which was great.

Air circulation in the room: when you open window you can hear very noisy street, when you close it - you breathe stuffy air. No fresh and tasty gluten-free bread for breakfast.

Very helpful staff, comfortable beds and linen, quite spacy room, good location (walking distance: main monuments 40 min., train station Neustadt 15 min., tram stop 5 min), breakfasts, kettle (you can ask for it at the reception) and small fridge in the room, free parking places along streets nearby. I traveled with family so connected rooms were very good solution.

The room was very spacious, the furniture new and the bedding clean. They even included a small sample of melatonin for a night of improved sleep. The breakfast was tasty, although not very varied.

The only downside was that the room was not properly heated during this season. The room was cold at night, and the heater provided made a loud noise while running, yet it failed to adequately warm the space. Overall, it’s a great, stylish, and large hotel with only minor issues regarding room heating.

The hotel was excellent in terms of both location and staff. Its location was very convenient, being close to the city center and only a 2-minute walk from a tram station, making it easy and quick to reach the center by tram. The staff were very friendly, kind, and helpful. We booked our room through Booking.com, but half an hour before arriving, we noticed via the Booking app that the booking staff had mistakenly changed our reservation from 2 days to 1 month. Booking's customer service was unresponsive at the time, neither replying to messages nor answering calls. Thankfully, the hotel staff resolved the issue for us. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent in terms of taste, quality, and variety. There’s also a McDonald's right across from the hotel for an additional dining option. The room sizes were large, spacious, clean, and furnished with comfortable furniture. The cleanliness extended to the entire hotel, which was beautifully designed and well-maintained.

It was a long walk to the nearest tram stop. The restaurant was closed on Sunday, but I was not told this. It may have been a one-off closure, but it would be worth asking about closing times if you intend to eat there.

Really not much, location isn't great if you want to be centre Dresden, bit if a walk, although there is a tram stop right there. However, we went to a concert that was across the road so for that and having a McDonald's across the road it couldn't have been better

The room size was fantastic, staff were great and overall hotel felt clean and spacious.
