How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The bathroom floor could have been a bit cleaner.
We were selected as Guest of the day and got a nice welcome in the room. Stuff is 10/10 and the location is great.

The most I liked was the confort of the apartment, the spacious room for the breakfast, the breakfast itself and the location. It is a very well managed hotel.

Wish could have a gym / fitness area to train. I know there are a lot of around, however for a quick stop for travel and work would be great to relax and enjoy
Very large room for the price and value. Will book again when in Dortmund, very close to the station and nearby restaurant also for late night dinner.

Not having an iron or tea/coffee making facility in the room. Also the duvet cover for the bed didn’t cover the bed at all and was made for a single bed

We had a junior suite with only a bathroom to be shared between the two rooms, can get tricky with 4 persons probably (we were only three).
Very good location, close to the railway station and to the city center. Online checkin a very good idea, you can pick your own room..! Breakfast is very good, an excellent choice of food and of very good quality.

The room was large, with plenty of space for work and leisure (the 'bedroom' part wisely separated from the rest of the room). The contents included an ironing board (but no coffee and tea facilities, unfortunately). Within short distance of the railway station, an ideal place for an overnight stay during travel.

The overall building was probably not designed as a hotel, but remodeled as such, and I found it rather nice: the rooms are really big (more of a suite than a regular room, also the bathroom area is big) and the hallways are very wide. Really big desk in hotel room. Wide choice for breakfast. In my case extremely good value for money, but this might depend a lot on the particular day (BVB football games). Hotel is close to train station, and also city center is within walking distance. Friendly staff at front desk.

All good - only wrinkle was that our room was fairly cold and we struggled to warm it up.
Excellent hotel in perfect location for Dortmund. Right next to the station with a comfortable parking garage. Rooms are big and comfortable with nice beds. Perfect online check in and nice cookies and water at the lobby.

No tea/coffee facilities. A bit noisy because of the proximity of the railway station but not enough to spoil a good nigh't sleep,
The room was substantial in size, with a big sitting/working area and a separate bed space. We were greeted at the reception by a very polite young man, exemplary check in service. There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room but he made me a cup of tea without hesitation - much appreciated! Very good breakfast.

Fridge was making strange sounds, but that's what all fridges do :)
Wonderful people working at the reception desk. Perfect location. Very nice room. We stayed here first time, but were in Dortmund previously in other hotels. Will be back here again.

Suggest relatively low cost improvements which would greatly enhance a stay here : add 2 coat hooks near door; add shower door to prevent water splashing onto floor when showering; locate safe on higher shelf to make it easier to use it and see numbers without stooping. Also suggest upgrading some suites which are basic to luxury suites (including sturdier nightstands) - we would pay more for this.
Overall great hotel conveniently located next to train station and close to restaurants and shopping. The suites have plenty of room with a large bathroom, large desk, comfortable chairs, sofa and bed. Our interior facing suite was very quiet and clean. This is our hotel of choice when staying in Dortmund.
