How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room had quite a strong smell of male perfume, and there were some stains on the chair. No coffee and tea facilities. But the rooms also don't cost that much compared to other hotels in Berlin, so those things were okish considering the price.
Central location, good value for money, relatively easy to find a free parking spot nearby on the street, space to park your bike in the courtyard.

The hotel is located on a busy road, and the constant sound of ambulances made it difficult to relax. Because the air conditioning did not cool the room properly, we had to keep the windows open for fresh air, which made the noise even worse. With a hospital nearby, the ambulance sirens passed every 20–30 minutes, and it became overwhelming during our stay.
The rooms we're clean and the bed/pillows were very comfortable. Location was easy to reach with a bus and tram stop near by.

Needs newer appliances (like get a chromecast or smart tv instead of a tablet that has no function but to display your name), and no kettle, tea or coffee in the room.

No kettle/boiler or coffee machine in the room. Shower could be better, drainer doesnt work perfectly.
Great location in case you want to hang out mostly in the east side of Berlin. Very clean room, cleaning service was offered everyday during our 6 days stay. Staff was super friendly and helpful, we had an issue with our room's AC when we first checked in and then we were moved to a better one the day after. Great value for money!

There were 2 single beds pushed against eachother instead of one big bed, even though we were messaged that our request was accepted.
The room was very nice and clean. There was a mini fridge with some free drinks. And the staff were very chill!

Unfortunately, we can't say the same about Santos' colleague,who was quite inattentive and not at all courteous. She was actually the one who caused the inconvenience we experienced on the second day of our stay.
The welcome was very warm and attentive, thanks especially to Santos, who was at the reception when we arrived. He helped us with everything, showing great availability, especially after the property had not clearly communicated some issues with services that weren’t working. His professionalism truly made the difference, and our stay was excellent despite the initial inconvenience.

Air conditioning was not working during the entire stay, despite assurance of the staff it will be fixed. The room faced the street and it was noisy.

Hotel had problems with A/C, but staff was very professional with the situation and compensated our lack of A/C during our stay.

The AC did not work or we did not manage it to work so the window had to be open time to time. Room cleaning was really early.
Very spacious and clean rooms, the staff was very friendly. Could get to public transportation easily.

We ordered 2 x robes to our room on arrival, these came immediately, however ordered 1 x robe and hot water bottle twice the next day and both times nothing arrived

I am waiting more than one hour for check-in from 16:00 to 17:30. Because apartment still not cleaned when I arrive. Its not normal :-(
I think administator can provide some drinks for us, while we waiting our apartments.

1) We missed the splendid breakfasts you used to have. In the absence of the restaurant, we would like to see coffee/tea makers in the room, or else free coffee/tea in the lobby. 2) The comforters are too warm. We would like to see a top sheet with a thin blanket available

Room was really cold and we just couldn't manage to heat it up. Windows are not well insulated. No robe has been provided for sauna, and once asked, they told us that there is no clean ones available.
Pretty good location and value for money. Stuff was mostly friendly and eager to help. Next door hotel facilities were allowed to use.
