This is very good Hotel. On the reception very friendly people work🤗 In room you will have everything what you need like in home.

I (We) really like the room size, the amenities, the location of the property and what the surroundings offer us, such as restaurants and easy access to public transport, even during a public holiday. But those good experiences were ruined by our room neighbours by making such a noise for almost the whole time of our stay (mostly in the late evenings).

Wifi does not work well. A dish dryer may be equipped.

A big and nice room including a big bathroom. One can make a simple meal in the room. A freezer is in the bagagge room, so that you may buy food from the big supermarket, which is located in the next building, and keep it before checking in.

The hotel does not provide any slippers for the stay, so it was little bit uncomfortable. The internet connection is very poor.

The hotel is very nice. We got nice rooms with the view to the main street. The grocery store is at 3 minutes walk from the hotel, and having a small kitchen in the room was really helpful. We were able to make dinner easy. The staff was very helpful to our needs!

There was a fire alarm. We left our room, followed the route indicated by the signs, and reached the assembly point. We were the only ones there for long time, then 3 more men showed up. We saw one fireman going around too, who did not tell us anything. Then the alarm was put off. We did not know what to do. Later we saw people going back to their rooms, but there was nobody from the hotel staff or their emergency response team (if they had any) to tell us if it was safe or not to return. This I found very disturbing, not getting information on how to act in such a case.

It was clean, good location, easy to find. Kitchen was okay, however a couple of things we missed, like there was only one mug for two of us to drink tea from, etc.

Every time we opened the window someone was in the car park area smoking which was unpleasant - it could be worth having a smoking area away from the windows

We were there for 4 days, but no housekeeping in between. That is a little shame. Downside was the extra bed as well, it was compared to the twin beds very uncomfortable. But it is still a bed I guess.

Room was very complete! Fully functional kitchen is very convenient. It's basically a tiny apartment with all that you need for days! Parking lot is small, but convenient to have, easy access to your accommodation and much safer than parking on the streets!

The WiFi was, unfortunately, horrendous. We tried to watch a movie and it was buffering every single line the characters spoke.

The beds were so comfortable I had trouble getting out in the morning. Very soft.

The wifi is too weak to be useful. While it was convenient to have a microwave, it backfired one morning at 6am when someone activated the smoke detector while heating up their food. All the guests had to leave the building and wait for a fire brigade. Only after my stay, I realized that I actually received a message through booking.com one day prior to my stay, which states that my stay was cancelled due to some rooms not having electricity. I was quite surprised, given that I stayed there without any problems and that this was not mentioned when I checked in. I am very grateful that it worked out, but this was strange. Mishaps may happen, but if my stay is cancelled, I expect the host to call me as soon as possible and to make sure that I am informed before I arrive. In this case though, I am grateful I was not informed.

The room is well equipped and corresponds to the pictures quite well. It was comfortable, clean, spacious, and the provided toiletries were nice. The apartments are located close to the city center and to a metro station so it was easy to get around. The rooms are well insulated from the street noise and the noise coming from the corridor. All in all, good value for money.

The wifi was very bad. I could connect to the network, but often pages would simply not load. The problem was the same whether I used my computer or my phone. At random times pages would load, but even in these cases not completely.

The room was functionally designed and furnished. It was cleaned well once, before I checked in. The check-in was smooth. The microwave, cutlery, plates, glasses etc. provided in the room were very useful. The bathroom was spacious and simple, and the soap and shampoo provided was good. The location of the hotel was good - 10-15 minutes' walk to central Bochum. My room looked out onto the street so I could hear the traffic, but it was not too loud for me inside the room. I think the room matched well the description given on booking.com. The reception staff were helpful whenever I interacted with them.

There rinsing place for the washed dishes was missed in the kitchen. Minor issue: the room was a little bit dusty.

Generally I am very happy with our choice to stay in Nena apartments. The bed was very comfortable, the toiletries were okey. Very good sound-proof window and door. The location was very good and near to the metro and bus stations. The small kitchen was very useful and the cutleries were enough.

The parking is very limited and on a first come first serve basis. It was very busy & we had to find parking elsewhere & carry all our luggage to the apartment . (Would have been helpful to know in advance) The WiFi was also struggling with the amount of guests trying to access it at once. Important to know for anyone relying on access to WiFi. The apartment was advertised as hypoallergenic, but provided extremely strong scented soap & shower gel. It would be better to provide an unscented option to stay in line with the hypoallergenic philosophy.

Nice new building & apartment. The apartment is well equipped and the friendly staff always willing to help. Great option for a quick trip to Bochum.
