The shower cabin is a bit too small, even for a thin person. You cannot leave any luggage with them before the check-in and after the check-out.

Great location and very clean room. It's nice that they offer a morning coffee, included in the price.

we had no check out instructions we did not know what to do with the keys so we left one in the room and one on the desk at the entrance I realize that if I could find my box number I could’ve put it in the box but I’m not very littered with the computers so the box number was not available

I did like the coffee and croissant would’ve been nice if they are available longer. The staff when I did talk to them were very helpful check in could’ve been better it’s an usual way for me to check in and then I have to deal with the phone language

Slight hiccup on self check in. Nonetheless, Hotel was made aware of the situation and the day staffed handled it well.

Self check in is obvious if you read your email properly (which I didn't!). Some noise from the traffic which you may not get in a room situated at the back, but this would not deter me from staying again.

Excellent hotel situated in a fairly central location of Hamburg, with on-site secure parking (at an additional charge). Clean and comfortable, basic breakfast which was sufficient for us. Would stay again.

Slightly far from the train station. No reception at the arrival (though instruction on how to retrieve the keys were very clear). The building and the rooms are a bit old.

There wasn’t any guidance about which floor is the hotel and using security card to activate parking barrier in relevant email. Sounds of ambulance out. There was a smell of urine sometime in the room. There weren’t water cocker and small caffe machine in the room while they were on the room photos during the booking process. A locked wardrobe in the room not usable and occupied the space.

Croissants became prepared every morning. Staff behavior with smile, respect, and helpful.

The hotel was really well located, at a very reasonable price. The room was also super nice, with an old style decor that gave it a bit more character than a normal hotel. The check in was really easy and when we saw the staff in the morning they were so friendly and helpful.

It´s a little too expensive for what it is in my opinion. Then again, Hamburg gets very expensive.

Michaelis Hof is a great place to stay. The rooms are clean and all amenities are kept in good shape. The water has good pressure and it´s warm, beds are comfy. You can rent an ironing board and iron for free, before going to work you can get a free coffee. I book it because it´s close to work. There´s nothing special about it, but I return because it´s fair.

The ambient noise from the other guests. Doors can permit noise and they make some noise due to air pressure in the corridors.

the location was perfect, basically everything you would need is within walking distance. the metro station is also very close which is nice. rooms were clean and pretty spacious.

The information of how to enter the hotel was only sent two hours before the check-in (despite the announcement that this would be sent 3 days before). This is very inconvenient especially for my elderly parents who were travelling in the morning and experienced some stress about this issue and made it difficult to get into the place without a receptionist.
