How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewGreat place for a short stay. Everything you would need to spend the night. There is parking in the same building, that costs from 5 to 20 euros. Also public transport stations are just outside the building.
Could have a small fridge and bit more space for personal belongings.

Verified reviewGood value for money especially as you get a private room with ensure incl towels and shampoo. Location is good and there is free street parking (I booked because of the parking but did not understand how to access parking so did not use it in the end but I thought it was free and did not realize it closed after 22h). I did not pre pay for breakfast but I did eat where the hotel recommended and it was good and reasonably priced. Really liked Leipzig city centre too.
The building is older and so whilst they have tried (successfully) to jazz it up it still looks tired in hallway and carpet. But for price and value this is just an observation. I struggled with check in (mainly opening room door) but was pleased in the end not to have to deal with anyone as I booked late (21h) and last minute arriving after 23h and so once I worked how the check in worked, it was straight forward.

Verified reviewExcellent experience! Clean, comfortable, and with touches of Leipzig history in the decoration. You will learn useful informations! Easy self check in. Very good location. There is an Edeka supermarket very close to you and many places to eat, bakery and cafe to the whole neighborhood. There is a tram right in front (to go to the city center, you will take tram line 3 from across the street). I highly recommend it! When I come back to Leipzig definitely I will choose this Hotel again!
If the rooms get a mini-fridge then it would be worth a 10' rating.

Verified reviewYou can check in as late as you want to as everything is done online and with digital keys, which is perfect if you are not sure about your arrival time. We got a very clean and reasonably comfortable room with a huge balcony. The hotel is located in a quiet and, by the looks of it, interesting neighbourhood, easily accessible from autobahn. Breakfast, including coffee and very tasty bread with ham and spreads, for which you pay additional 7 euro, is served in the next door bakery. There is a garage in connection to the hotel, where the fee is 2 euro per hour or 20 euro for a day. Good to know is that if you arrive after ten in the evening, you can’t enter the garage as it is closed (you can exit at any time of the day). Then you have the option of parking on the street which worked well for us.
Would be good with clearer info regarding parking and the flexibility before booking.

Verified reviewThis is a budget hotel with self check in. We didn't see any staff just automated robots hovering the hallways. We parked in the garage for an extra charge, which is also used by people visiting the shopping centre. The parking is quite expensive but you could park on the road for free. Around the hotel there were good value restaurants. The hotel recommend the bakery over the road for breakfast. We ate there and it was good. The tram stop into the centre (Hauptbahnhof) is by the front entrance, but the walk into the centre through the park is lovely.
It would have been nice to have coffee making facilities, but we recognise this is a budget hotel.

Verified reviewEverything was perfect. The location is pretty close to the center, especially by tram or bus. The room was really good. The check-in and check-out were seamless. And the help we got through whatsapp (we explained that we made 2 bookings for 2 different rooms and were asking if we could stay in the same room) was prompt and very appreciated. Main concern was paid extras that I didn't receive: I paid extra before arriving for a neck support pillow, which I did not receive. Upon arrival, I saw a "refund" being processed on my banking app, so I didn't make a fuss about it (I thought they were refunding me for the pillow, since they didn't have one available). On the check out date I had a look what was the refund for and turned out that they've made a mistake and refunded me the wrong item - a City Tax (which was cheaper than a pillow). I wrote them an email notifying of this strange thing - that I got refunded a city tax amount and not the pillow which I didn't have in the room. A lady responded to me rudely (after some back and forth emails) that the pillow was in the room, and that was that. No explanation to anything. I let it go, since the cost of the pillow wasn't that much, and I did receive a "partial refund" in a city tax amount. But if you do request for some Extras, be aware that you might not get the service nor your money back. Other concerns: - you use the code to open the door, but the keypad is in German. If you don't understand, you have to problem-solve yourself, there's no one to help you. - One time my room didn't open. Keypad showed some reasoning in German which I didn't understand. Thankfully there were some cleaning ladies on the floor who opened the room for me. Not sure what happened there. That was the last time I needed to access the room, so I didn't investigate this further. But that would be a bummer if this happened when no one was around. - Lastly, there's no AC, which I didn't realize during booking. It was hot in the room (4th floor).
