How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There could have been more halal choices for breakfast. The pillows were very flat, the air-conditioning worked some days not.all or it was slow. A few stains on the carpet
The rooms were ready before check-in and i was aloud to go up to the rooms that was so kind and thoughtful. The staff were lovely and spoke to you, especially Maria our cleaner 3rd floor and Bedda i think the waitress during breakfast..made it very special. The towels during swimming, the facilities and the breakfast was great.

The location across from train station was seedy with men hanging out on sidewalks in front of hotel.
The facilities and cleanliness were outstanding.

A Great Stay at the Maritim Hotel We had an excellent experience at the Maritim Hotel München. The location is absolutely fantastic, just a very short walk from Munich's main train station. It's also right in the heart of the city, surrounded by plenty of restaurants and shops, which made exploring the area incredibly easy. The swimming pool was a real highlight; it's a great addition that made our stay even more enjoyable. A special mention must go to the staff member Layla, who we met at both the restaurant and the reception. Her service was outstanding and she left us with a wonderfully positive impression of the hotel. We were also impressed by the soundproofing. We heard no noise at all from the neighbouring rooms, ensuring a very peaceful and quiet stay.

I took two connecting rooms with a living room, the rooms are spacious as is the living room. Breakfast is served from 6:30 to11:00 and there are many options to choose from. As for the hotels locations it is close to well-known international hotels, as well as Arabic restaurants and close to Marienplatz

Being put out the back in the A Building and having to take lifts and walk to get to the streets or the pool. The carpets smell.

Unfortunately the hotel is situated in an unpleasant location. There are a lot of drunk and drug affected locals who hang out in the front of the hotel. They make you feel uncomfortable and unsafe.

I would have liked a kettle to make tea or coffee in the room.
The breakfast was great. Plenty of variety to chose from. The shower was separate not over the bath like many hotels and it had a fantastic rain head shower with electronic temperature control. The view of the tree lined street was good too.

The pillow is a bit soft. The window in our room is small which is less than half of one side of the wall, this is a bit diappointing.
It is very near to Munich Central Station which is really convenient.

Overall really good maybe breakfast could’ve been cheaper.
Really good location, close to the center. The room was amazing; beds were comfy, was really clean and overall enjoyable time. The room we booked had everything we needed and it was really nice.

The front entrance isn’t that particularly great with the people that just seem to hang about.
Location to city centre was great! Beds and pillows were pretty good! If you go out from the hotel, go the back way and come back in the same way, then you will avoid the not so nice stuff out the front. The pool was ok.

Unfortunately getting in and out of the property was not comfortable. There are gambling places around the entry and lots of people hang out. It did not feel comfortable walking in and out with two kids.
The rooms were fine. Comfy beds and clean enough. The staff was fantastic and very helpful.

The location is both great (near the railway station) and not so great (near the railway station with everything that goes on around railway stations). I was continuing by train the next morning, so it was very practical for me.
Breakfast was great. I also enjoyed the upstairs swimming pool which was small but did its job.
