We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights but exactly during that time the temperatures reached 34 degrees during the day and you could not possibly be in the room during the daytime as it was melting hot. It also seems they give guests with kids the rooms which face the inside of the hotel where you get the afternoon sun the front side would have been preferred by us as 1. one not so hot and 2. no naked people outside in the garden by the spa area not what you want your 8 year old daughter to see older naked guys with their bit hanging out. But I feel that should be a rule sauna or not surely you can when you go out either wrap a towel around you or where some speedos.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little dated but it works for the guests and you can tell it was once upon a time a very beautiful hotel.

The bathroom’s sliding shower door doesn’t stay firmly in place, causing water to leak onto the floor. While I appreciate the provided water bottles, it would be more guest-friendly if they were replenished daily (as some hotels do).

The current breakfast offerings are disappointingly limited, especially when compared to the variety available in 2019.

The pillow was too soft. I would say bring your own. It was a long walk to my room but that is good for general fitness.

The airco did not work properly in our room. The pillows very soft. Handling at the reception desk was a bit chaotic due to interference of other guests trying to bypass.

Very limited choice in restaurant, not worth 4* Minibar in room publicized but empty and switched off for "environmental" reasons. I believe it's more cost saving. Something like this should not be advertised as room facility.

Quality of food / beverage was fine but not outstanding. Good enough price/quality balance but could be better. Breakfast was ok, but lower than I had expected for this sort of hotel. Staffing in the bar was “difficult “ for one person.

It is absolutely ridiculous that this place charges/fines you for for bringing in outdoor food. We were here for a conference and we have small children who need to eat throughout day. We are not going to spend $30 on the restaurant meal and walking all the way to town every time is inconvenient. I wouldn’t stay here again because of their stingy fine.

It's not a thing that I didn't like, but just a small tip. If you don't know the location of each staircase, and if your room locate at the end of the hall way, you may feel far to your bedroom. On the second day, I found that I could get to my bedroom faster by using the stairs near the restaurant. This is not such a big deal, but if you find an easier way to go to your room then you would feel more convenient.

I didn't expect much. But the bedroom was very cozy, with everything it needed. You don't have to bring all the supplies. Before you come, check what is ready here and reduce your heavy luggage. The facilities were clean and clean. The breakfast was very satisfying! There were a variety of salads, fruit, yogurt, bread, ham, different types of tea leaves, hot and simple dishes. The garden outside is very good for a walk. The hotel is in a good location and you can also eat at several restaurants nearby if you like. Although they were busy with so many people, the employees were calm and friendly and gave their best in everything. I'm grateful to them. It's a pity that I couldn't use the pool and sauna because I didn't know. Don't miss this opportunity. This hotel will satisfy you with the basics you need, and you will also find extra pleasures in this city.

My family and I decided to take a spontaneous vacation for the weekend and we couldn't have been more pleased with the decision to book a room at the Maritime Hotel in Bad Wildungen. The reception staff was exceptional, going out of their way to answer any questions or assist us. My daughter loved the fitness room and my wife found the food and dining delightful. We highly highly recommend!
