How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The only real problem was the shower which had a mind of its own and very difficult to locate oneself in the direction it wished to send the water. Also, for such a large hotel, disappointing that there was no restaurant for dinner.
Easy to locate when driving to the hotel. Impressive Reception area. Comfortable room and very good breakfast with very attentive and pleasant staff. Good Altstadt location.

The bathroom. The door is sliding frosted glass door so if someone went to the bathroom at night the light shined through and into the bedroom. Also the sliding door did not provide a good seal so all noises were heard in the bedroom.

Nice, clean Hotel. Very comfortable beds and good breakfast. We traveled with dog, and this Hotel is exeptional dog friendly. Sentral in the old Town, so you can walk everywhere.

The bar prices were a bit high.
The hotel was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. There was a wardrobe with an ample supply of coat hangers - a rare treat in a large modern hotel. The bedroom was equipped with a minibar and coffee making facilities. The break fast was good - and no queues. The hotel was in the centre and close to the sights. They had there own parking.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of the Old Town, making the surrounding area quiet, but still close to the old town. Parking was well organised, the parking space in the hall was marked in advance with a name. The room was comfortable and relatively large. The breakfast offer was rich and varied.

Parking spots are very limited. It would have been really nice to know that when booking so we could have reserved one!
The breakfast was fantastic and we could not have asked for a better location!! The entire town is walkable from this beautiful hotel!

The curtains are not shading 100 % from the outside light, which unfortunately made me wake up every morning around 05:00. When I am on vacation then I would like to wake up later than this time of the day

The firm new bed was a little hard for myself but had an excellent choice of pillows.
Again, we recently had the pleasure of staying at the Atlantic hotel. This stylish hotel make it our favourite place to stay when in Lübeck. The hotel is conveniently situated; a city centre location. Friendly personnel providing exceptional service.

There was a coffee pod machine but I prefer a jug to make tea. Door to the bathroom was frosted glass which might have troubled me more if I hadn't been married for thirty years!
Fantastic position in the middle of the old town. Literally around the corner from a supermarket. Extremely close to loads of restaurants and great tourist sites. Very central. Brilliant staff. Very comfortable bed and good large rooms. Shower pressure great.

Very central location in Lübeck. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I enjoyed having a couple of beers in the bar. The breakfast selection was good. The room was very modern and clean. Would stay again.

The hotel is very well located and although they don’t mention it on the website, there is a small room to exercise as well as a sauna that is very nice to use on rainy and cold days. Breakfast was algo good and with plenty options.

Everything was great.
Conveniently located in the city center, spacious room equipped with a desk and comfortable chair, spacious closet for clothes and shelves with a door for your belongings. Nice bathroom with a spacious shower and heated towel rack. Walking distance to sightseeing spots and shops. Beds are also very comfortable.

Beds are hard as rocks. After the first night (since housekeeping had already gone home in the early evening) I requested a “cool sleep comfort foam topper” and while it was better, it was also hard.
Location. Modern. On site breakfast. Knowledge of the staff regarding the city and restaurants and sights. Large rooms. Modern bathrooms. But the BEST thing is that this hotel has silent closing doors into the room so when people are coming and going, you don’t hear any heavy slamming doors to wake to up.
