How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

when I arrived, they were renovating, so the room smelled of paint.
Great use of limited space. Good size desk. Comfortable bed. Giant fan was excellent in the heat.

Distance to Frankfurt is 20 min by train
Breakfast is nice, room is OK. The purpose of booking the hotel in Offenbach was that Frankfurt properties were either sold out or had sky high prices.

The hotel was rather empty during my stay there, so very quiet and somehow spooky with empty corridors, no people and quiet, even during breakfast, each sound seemed strange.
The location was the best due to the proximity of the S bahn and the meeting place. The room was quiet and comfortable. There was plenty for breakfast and very few people and quiet.

Furniture in the room too old, needs renovation.
Style of the hotel itself is really nice, breakfasts are great with various choice of food, close to the undeground. Staff very helpful.

Although the hotel facilities and staff were generally nice, I happened to have too excited guests on the same floor. They came back to their room(s) around 02:00 a.m. with shouting and started playing too loudly music. It stopped around 03:00 a.m. after some arguing voices, but the music restarted again by 06:00 a.m. I must thank the airline who gave me earplugs on the outward flight. This is not a highly-soundproofed modern city hotel.
Breakfast buffet was quite nice (a variety of hams, cheeses and cereals were available; veggies were fresh; some hot dishes including egg dishes were also there).

cleanliness of the room - had stains on the walls, hair in the bath plug hole, the hair dryer was very dirty after many customers have used it probably with hair products on their hands or just didn't bother to wash their hands - I had to disinfect it. Parking costs not 6 EUR as stated on the website and on booking, but 8 EUR per night at nearby parking from 5 pm to 10 am, and additional 1 EUR per hour after 10 am.
Breakfast, Bed (mattress), Closeness to the S bahn and commercial center with cinema, grocery store and hygiene/cosmetics store. we are particularly grateful for letting us park the car for additional couple of hours. We were lucky though that there was parking space available at hotel's territory, but it was an exception.

Our room was very spacious but little hot, however, the ceiling fans made the nights better for sleeping.
Location was excellent and within a walking distance to many shops & restaurants. The Frankfurt centre is easily accessible by S bahn ans the trains run regularly, however, we liked Offenbach's vibe more. The breakfast was generous and staff were really friendly. We even got some free bubbly on the house due to my mum's 70th birthday which she was happy about.

The breakfast was excellent! One of the best hotel breakfasts we've ever had! The rooms were extremely clean, well decorated, comfortable beds, and we had a beautiful view. It was unseasonably warm when we visited so without air conditioning in the room, we were grateful for the 2 fans in the room.

The mattresses are very old and uncomfortable. They need to be changed. Probably having more options for vegans in the breakfast would also be usefull.
The stay was very comfortable and the staff was very helpful. The property has been well maintained. They have a very good breakfast as well. The location is very well accessible by public transport as well.
