Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe underground car park was very nuseful but I thought it quite expensive at 19 euros a night.
Despite it being a chain hotel with the usual soulless corridors, my room felt as if someone cared. It was very well designed with a seating area, a desk with additional surfaces, a smal kitchen type area and a balcony. It all fitted into quite a small room with a feeling of spaciousness. The surrounding residential area is quiet and there is a well priced restaurant just across the street. It is close to the U Bahn station but the weather was good for my weekend and I walked the 2 1/2 miles each day - there are nice walks beside the river on the way. The receptionists were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was good but it was very busy.

United StatesOnly one tiny elevator for the WHOLE hotel. If you need the elevator (I walk with a cane) you usually have to wait a very long time.
Great location with easy access to the subway to get into the tourist area. Room was nice and staff was excellent. Area surrounding the hotel is a bit dirty but then again that seemed to be the norm for Germany of today.

AustraliaNothing everything was good.
We had a room with a balcony which was great. It also had a small kitchenette. The room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. The guy at reception when we arrived was wonderful. His sense of humour and warm welcome made us feel right at home. Please tell him the Ravenwood sends her regards. He is a massive asset to the hotel. The location was great with the subway just around the corner and only a few stops from the city and other attractions.

United KingdomAlthough what food was available at breakfast was good I don't feel there was enough choice for the price.
Clean rooms and comfortable beds. It was great to have a fridge in the room. The location was close to an underground which made it easy to get into the centre of Munich.

RussiaA very unpleasant moment was when checking in and paying for the room. I paid in cash at the reception and was told that with this payment I had to leave an additional deposit of €50 per room per night (i.e. for two nights - €100). This was not written anywhere in advance. Luckily, I had this extra amount with me, beyond what I had expected. Upon check-out, the deposit was returned without any problems
Quite comfortable room with air conditioning. There are an electric kettle, coffee machine, coffee capsules, tea bags, mini fridge. A bed was comfortable. Our room had a nice balcony with a table and chairs. The location of the hotel is on a quiet street, not far from the metro station

GreeceWe had a great stay at this place in Munich! The location is excellent — just a 3-minute walk from Silberhornstraße station on the U2 line, which made getting around the city super easy. Whether we were heading to the city center, main station, or exploring other neighborhoods, the U-Bahn access was incredibly convenient. The area also felt safe and had everything we needed nearby. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a well-connected spot to stay in Munich!

GermanyThe room was super spacious with an entrance, kitchenette, bathroom, balcony and generous room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is still a good distance from the city center. Of course, you can only cook basic things in the kitchen but the fridge was a very good size to store food.

ArmeniaI really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, just what I was looking for. The metro station is only a short walk away, and there are a few shops nearby which was very convenient. My room was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. I’d happily stay here again and absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Munich.

TaiwanThe room had a mini kitchen so we thought we’d be able to cook something simple. But there were no kitchenware, no pot or pan for the stove, no knives and chopping board, not even plates and cutlery. So we couldn’t do anything even with the small kitchen😢 we had to borrow plates and cutlery from the kitchen every morning at the end. The staffs were really helpful though. The cleaning staff left the door slightly open after cleaning once. Luckily everything was still in there and safe, but it was a shock.
The staffs were helpful and friendly

New ZealandNothing - as I said earlier, the cost of the parking mounted up - we would rather have spent that money in the restaurant or the bar.
The chap at reception was hilarious - he was super efficient. That bloke deserves a pay rise and promotion! Comfortable and quiet. The rooms were serviced daily. In addition there was a washing machine and clothes dryer on site. The secure on-site parking was excellent albeit a little expensive over 5 nights (€19 per night). Breakfast was excellent with the staff constantly fussing and topping up the various plates of food.
