Long waits for the lifts at times, but that was because we were there in high season and there were multiple tour groups, including a large school group from Canada, there at the time.

The lifts seemed to be out of order a lot of the time, but did come back to life fairly quickly except one which was permanently showing an out of order sign

This hotel boasts an unbeatable location in the heart of Mitte, just a few minutes' walk from the train station. The staff were exceptional—friendly, English-speaking, and incredibly patient. When I managed to lose my room key just minutes after check-in, they quickly provided a replacement without any fuss or attitude. The room was spotlessly clean, and the overall experience was very pleasant. For anyone wanting to stay in central Berlin with excellent transport connections and reliable service, I'd highly recommend this place

There were a lot of banging sounds like a door being slammed open and shut, which was sometimes disturbing.

The location was great, right in the centre of the city and also close to a train station. Staff were very kind and helpful. Room was nice and clean, comfortable bed. The room came with a kettle and refrigerator. The bathroom was clean.

The property is all about the location. That’s it. The rest it’s just a regular hotel. The rooms are small and with too much furniture in them. No TV channels in English only news. The cleaning was ok. The hair dryer wasn’t working so I got another one from the front desk but the replacement barely dried my hair. The breakfast is good. They give a bottle of water every day which is nice! The hotel does let you drop-off your luggage that was a big plus for me and that’s why I booked and the location. I would book again.

I really liked the lobby, breakfast place, and the workplace they have in the lounge area.

Breakfast could be more varied. Otherwise it was not a big deal as there were many restaurants just around the corner.

The staff was professional and helpful. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood and is accessible. It is on the banks of River Spree . Boat ride along the river is a popular sightseeing activity. The train station is just across the river. Here you can catch the train to the airport. Many attractions like the museum island and the tv tower are a walking distance.

The staff at reception was nice, but they could pay more attntion to the guests. Every time we went to the front desk they were talking together, and we always had to wait before someone could help us.

If we nitpick, there are just a couple of things that may improve. The first is the elevator system; we stayed for 3 nights, and during the whole period, one of the three elevators remained non-functional. Not sure what the issue was, but at a hotel of this stature, we would expect expedited repair and maintenance to be a top priority. Second is the wardrobe; although the room was quite spacious, we felt that there might have been more space allocated to the wardrobe, providing a little more storage space for clothes. Nothing major; we could manage easily. Apart from these two small points, we would give this hotel full points for hospitality. Highly recommended.

You can't beat the location of this accommodation. This hotel is right next to Friedrichstrasse station, by the river Spree, and within walking distance from most of the popular landmarks in the Berlin Mitte region. We loved walking around the hotel, checking out the shops along the main road, the vibrant food places along Spree, and the calm back-alleys just behind the hotel. The park right in front of the hotel provides a good buffer from the busy ambiance beside Spree, making the hotel a quiet refuge within one of the busiest neighbourhoods of Berlin. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, helping us with a kind allowance of late check-out. The room was quiet spacious for the rate in this neighbourhood, and the bathroom was decently sized as well. The cleanliness is commendable; we did not need any cleaning service during our stay, but were provided with fresh towels and water bottles whenever we needed. We would try to stay at the same hotel if we visit Berlin again, and will recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
