How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Food and facilities closed early so I was not able to have dinner or use the sauna/pool when I arrived at 9pm. There isn’t much around in the small town so be sure to eat before.
Spacious enough room, big window, cute property. Good continental breakfast in the morning.

Cozy homely atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. A dreamy, delicious breakfast worthy of a hotel of at least three stars, a sauna and a cozy pool and gym. I liked everything very much. It was quiet and cozy.

We were told to put our stuff in our rooms when we arrived, so we went to the rooms and they weren't ready and the cleaner got really cross with us. Think it was a miscommunication between staff as it was 1pm or so. Also there were some noisy other guests still up chatting loud and late just outside our room. Kitchen also closed relatively early for dinner, so just be aware of that.
Breakfast was extensive and pretty good, rooms were large and comfy. One had a kitchen (one didn't, but I don't remember seeing this on the booking). Really kind guy at the front door. They have a bowling alley which is also fun! Lots of vibe in the hotel, characterful place.

Equipment of the children's house and playground was worn out with use.

Nothing really, but I have a couple minor suggestions: * I'd appreciate that in the swimming pool and the area around the pool would swimsuit be mandatory. Saunas might be used naked, but should be signs that resting/walking naked in the pool area is not allowed * The family room is suitable for 4 adults (and maybe 2 more children), but I could not book it for 2 adults+2 children, only 2 adults + 1 child. We've managed with the host, but would be easier to the booking system * Please update the room description, it shows less than it has :) it only shows 2 single beds and a sofa bed. However, the room also has a large double bed (more than the description). The room also has a kitchenette with inductions stovetop, microwave and a fridge. It'd be nice to put it on the room description, we didn't know beforehand

The mattresses were very soft and the bedding was freshly washed but already quite worn. The bathroom had mold on one corner and the towels were also quite worn. At check-in we had to wait a very long time for a staff member. The breakfast times are quite tight, the selection at breakfast was okay, service staff is rather shy.
The room was okay clean, and a heater on to warm the room. Both the room and the bathroom have a window that you could open completely. It is really a very quiet environment and the parking lot is very large.

We stayed only one night, but we were really satisfied. We got spacious and clean room with big terrace and we could use spa that was included in the price. Breakfast was delicious and we liked the garden with the animals and bowling in the building. The staying was for a really good price vs. quality.

The breakfast was great, especially the scrambled eggs! The room was big, with a huge balcony. They have a bowling alley too, which was under my room but it was not disturbing. They close it at 22.00 so there was no problem during the night. There were a lot of guests, party, and the restaurant was full, but I was there at Whit Sunday, so it was expected. I only stayed one night, so I could not try the pool, beer garden, or other activities, but the location and place looked great! It seems like mostly a German tourist destination, but they are open and very helpful with foreigners too.
