How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It is such a lovely place surrounded by lots of green. Very nice and peaceful, nice place to rest after a long journey.

The accommodation was great, clean, spacious. Just bear in mind that there are no restaurants nearby and the restaurant at the facility is closed now (probably because it is off season now). Luckily we found a Lidl nearby (10 min drive).

Quiet location, 10km and 20 minutes far from center of Dresden. Possibility of dinner. We had one and it was perfect. I like to come back once again.

This hotel is a historical building that is simply appointed clean and comfortable. Very good German style breakfast too. We checked in very late and thank the staff for their flexibility

Nice place with a cozy restaurant that served great food. They also had a vegetarian dish! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and a fine continental breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed there on our way to and from Vienna.

Simple in the best way. We only stayed one night during our road trip with a baby and a dog and it was all really smooth and comfortable. The room was nice, staff was friendly, and breakfast was good.

Nothing, really
I was really happy with the accommodation. It was so spacious! I got a room on the first floor above the reception. I was a bit suspicious while being taken to my room as we were walking past shelves and area serving as storage. Until the whole apartment opened up in front of me - a large living room with a separate kitchen, and then bathroom and the main bedroom. So much space and really clean. Yes, it is close to the highway, but not noisy. It was calm, super dark, and i had a fantastic sleep. I read comments about breakfast - yes, it was a "cold breakfast", but there was still a heaps of food and variety. I left full and happy. I can definitely see us using this stop in the future while driving through Germany, would happily come back!

The whole area smelled of cooked food. The room was very basic. No shampoo, just shower gel. The restaurant seemed very pricey for the place. The staff were semi attentive.

We booked at the last moment (same day) and stayed one night. We booked it because of the reasonable pricing and because it was handy on our route. Based on earlier ratings, my expectations did get somewhat elevated, but the place exceeded them in and out. The entrance to the apartment was via a staircase that partly functioned as storage space, so first we thought what are we going to get. But when we got in, we were like wow, it was much bigger than we expected and it was so cozy, clean and comfortable. The twin bed was amazing; the quality and firmness of the madras, the silky sheets... Personally, I could not lie better. The bathroom was big and shiny, the kitchen charming and very clean. With the available closet space, one could stay there for much longer. In hurry in the morning, I forgot to leave a tip to whoever cleans it, but will surely make up for it if I get the opportunity to stay again. Worth every cent. The personnel was friendly and nice.

Place was closed when we arrived. Fortunately someone showed up after awhile and let us in. Nothing within walking distance and restaurant was closed!
