Very good location for exploring Freiburg. Our room was upgraded, thanks for this. Nice restaurant in the hotel but I would recommend thesteak house in the neighbouring village calledn Reute.

The bathroom had big spots of black mould on the ceiling. Also there were lots of stains on the carpet and furniture.

Only negative for us was a second floor room with two sets of steep stairs. Maybe next time we will ask for a room on the first floor.

Well located for an overnight stop to Italy although I am sure it would make a good base for sightseeing the local area. The room was spacious and comfortable and the restaurant serves delicious food. We have stayed here before so there is consistency in their service.

Very quaint house, typical for the area but tastefully modernised, spacious rooms with good beds, new bathrooms & small fridge. Family run business with the proprietor taking care of the guests in the morning, serving a very good breakfast with local specialties.

The location is a little internal and not directly by the highway.

The hotel is beautiful and has historical significance. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are big. There is parking just outside the hotel.

The smell of the kitchen fryer and the dog permeated the hallways of the hotel. The top floor was very warm, and the there were too many mosquitos to open the windows. Breakfast was ok, but needed a few more options.

The hotel is a 15-min drive to Freiburg, and good for accessing the Black Forest or Europa Park. It's a charming German guest house hotel and restaurant. Free, easy parking on-site is always a bonus in Europe. Very affordable with breakfast included.

Nothing to say, but as mentioned to the staff, the fridge was a little bit dirty with hairs and crumbs but rest was ok.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, especially the breakfast with lovely local products and fresh.

Away from big cities/town, in the middle of a small town/ village. Accept pets and pretty good breakfast close to europa park, freiburg, colmar and strasbourg to visit them all locations.

It was our third stopover night at this hotel on the way to Italy - and we will come back! Nice, fairly big rooms, spotlessly clean, great breakfast with lots of choices. They also offer a very good in-house restaurant and an outside terrace in season which is very convenient if you don’t want to drive anymore…

Our family stayed in the hotel for one night. We were traveling from Switzerland to Amsterdam. The hotel is nicely located near the highway, very quiet and clean. Great breakfast with a lot of choices. The room was very quiet and seems recently renovated. It was a great choice.

It's important to point out the absence of an elevator, even if it wasn't a problem for us.

we stayed in a large and bright room. it was well insulated from the noise of the street and pleasantly warm. Comfortable bed and pillows. friendly staff, excellent food for dinner and a plentiful breakfast.

The restaurant wasn't open and after our long drive we then had to go out to find dinner when we had specifically booked a place with a restaurant so we wouldn't need to drive anywhere else. The room didn't have a kettle or fridge either. The radio in the bathroom had a mind of its own!
