The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is just amazing. Considering it's not an expesive place to stay, I didn't think it would be that good. Good value for money. Very well located if you want to hike in the Eifel National Park. After my hike, I was pleasantly surprised to find a footbath tub at my door with a message from the hotel. This was icing on the cake. Very nice place overall and highly recommended.

Great breakfast, in the middle of excellent hiking territory with an abundance of nice walks starting in front of the hotel, attractive pricing for the single walker. Room is in the basement, but had good natural light and slightly dated but solid facilities. Very happy!

Perfect location for hiking in Eifel park and near centre of town, so convenient for restaurants and cafes too. Nice small gestures such as foot bath after hiking. Very “green” property, stimulating people to consider the environment and providing lots of bio breakfast items. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

It may be a bit noisy in the morning because the hikers wake up early and the isolation is not perfect. It could also get a bit hot but opening the windows helped.

- Location: tens of hiking routes start right at the exit of the hotel - Breakfast with local and bio-products, and even pancakes on the weekend :) - The room was better than the photos. I feel like it was freshly renovated, including the bathroom. And perfectly clean! - The staff doesn't speak English but everyone is extremely friendly. There was a welcome Haribo package, and after a day of hiking, we were happy to find a footbath kit in front of our door.

Would have been nice to have a bicycle storage area but we kept the bikes on the car bike rack and it was not a problem.

My colleague and I were greeted at the door and check-in was super easy and quick. Rooms are clean and receive good sunlight. Breakfast is super with many choices. Location is perfect to go about exploring the Eifel region and walking distance to nearby restaurants and supermarket. We found the hosts to be kind and welcoming people.

We enjoyed everything. Only tiny comment, that the kettle in the room is standard full size and it is difficult to fit it under the tap in the bathroom. A smaller mini-kettle would be easier to manage.

Everything was absolutely amazing and it was great to be back in Gemund. Outstanding standards of cleanliness, homely and high quality breakfast.

Nice hotel in the middle of town, with a very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was in the basement (as indicated beforehand), but still had enough sunlight coming in. Excellent breakfast.

The room was very comfortable and clean, the breakfast was plentiful and very delicious. Even if the receptionist didn't speak much English, we could still understand each other. It was very nice gesture to find a herbal-salt feet bath waiting for us after day out. I highly recommend this hotel! There is a great restaurant short stroll from it as well.

The beds are comfy, but the pillows are to soft. Maybe a soft and harder pillow could be provided in each room.

The breakfast is fantastic. There is a nice sauna that you can for €5. The personnel is very friendly and helpful, in making you feel at home.

The bathroom looked and felt like from the 60ies... oh gee, the entire place is so 60ies. LOUD -- During the first night you heard the dog barking next door as if it was yours... the morning of the second day I was woken up by the alarm clock of -- again -- the next door guest. My room was in the cellar even though you got plenty of daylight as they dug up the soil from the outside and had installed large windows. Not enough parking in front of the hotel, but there is plenty of space along the street.

Breakfast was great. Large selection of seeds to choose from for a Musli, canned orange juice, some fresh cheese. No omelette tough. Very nice/helpful staff. Room gets daily cleaned.

Hotel staff can barely speak any English, a bit for international visitors to communicate with.

The hotel is very close to the entrance of hiking trail, which is very convenient for the visitors who would like to hike.
