How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We loved everything. The pool was closed as they are awaiting a new liner but that meant we were alone on the loungers in the little garden and could totally relax.
This was a perfect little stop over on our road trip. Conveniently close to the motorway but you wouldn’t know it once in the tiny town of wineries.

Looks like it was build DIY and not by professional builders that know what they are doing. Therefore silly things like hot and cold water swapped in the shower and intriguing use of materials and techniques.
On an industrial site close to highway and a supermarket, self check in is convenient when arriving late and enough free parking space on site: good stop when traveling.

A bit disappointed with charging station not working at all. Lost some time next day on the way because of that
Very clean and friendly hotel motel on the highway exit. Super easy check in family managed very fast interaction via booking chat. Sweet little amenities and decorations in the room. Books!

The light in the badroom was broken, it is flickering the whole time. And I was very allergic for the bedsheets and the pillows.

Good value for the money. Everything you need for a comfortable night. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t good enough to test the pool. But it is a nice bonus.

The location is very convenient when you're driving through Germany. The rooms were spacious and clean. The friendly owner put a lot of attention into decorating the rooms and the candy/crisps were a nice touch! The 2 comfy beds were perfect. In the morning we had (our own) breakfast in a little picnic area. We didn't have time to try the pool: hopefully next time!

Unable to adjust the shower head to get it into the correct position for a proper shower. There was some adjustability but not enough. Sky box was hanging precarious from the bottom the TV via plastic ty wraps.
Nice large room with twin double beds also tea and coffee in the room with a fridge. Nice large bathroom and shower area. Easy to book online and acquire the key from a locked key safe. Breakfast available on site but on this occasion we didn't use it. Drop box for key up on departure.

Nothing not to like for an overnight stay enroute to The Netherlands.
The motel owners have really thought about guest needs even down to an umbrella and a shoe horn. The room was warm and cosy as it was cold outside. The breakfast was superb with plenty of choice. Great waffle maker. Excellent overnight stay near the autobahn which cannot be heard. Nice village. Good information file to direct us to a restaurant for dinner. Safe parking. Lovely flower pots. I think the motel would be nice in summer especially as it has a swimming pool.

Pillows were a bit flat and lumpy
Great location for doing short road trips around the area. Lots of parking available and there's a supermarket really close by. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again when in the area!

beds are small for 2 persons. Towels were not smooth. seems they are old however are clean.

It's next to a diesel station so it got very noisy at night with trucks filling up. Even with windows closed and ac on it was still audible.

Everything was great
Everything was well taken care off, there was a swing for young children (that’s why we also chose it) and close to the road when you are traveling and need a night sleep on the way

There was no good parking option for us left. We arrived late at night. It was puzzling a bit to get the car parked.
