How guest reviews work

You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewThe location is perfect, near the train station & walking distance to major attractions & Zeil Street for shopping. Many reviews had frightened me regarding the surrounding area, but we didn't experience any problems. Staff at the reception as well were very nice & helpful. Our requests for the rooms were all fulfilled.
Providing 1 bottle of water per stay. I always say that water costs nothing & would be a good gesture to the guest, so why only one bottle? Tea bags & coffee capsules should also be available at all times whenever requested.

Verified reviewCheck in was smooth and they had my room ready. Breakfast was simple but very adequate. Staff were nice and able to answer queries. Although the street outside is crowded and noisy, you can hardly hear any noise from inside the room. Location is very close to the central train station. Plenty of restaurants around to eat at.
Carpet smelled a little old through the corridor and in my room. It's not a big deal but I would think something has to be done about it. Location, outside is a busy street and you do get a little bit overwhelmed by the characters. Its not a big deal if you know how to handle traveling alone.

Verified reviewThe room was quite large and very clean. The bed was also very comfortable. The staff were friendly and the location was perfect - so close to the train station and also to the old part of the city where there were heaps of restaurants and attractions. We would definitely stay again - we slept like logs and had no disturbances.
The only issue was that although the bathroom was renovated and the shower lovely, there was no drain in the main part of the bathroom so water from the shower door had nowhere to drain!

Verified reviewPerfect location, nice and service minded staff, high security shields with card keyes to even access the elevators (and use them). Silent rooms and good AC in the hot days and nights. Spacy room and comfortable beds, even if I'm not a fan of such high beds! But the room was stylish and fulfilling in every other way.
The bed was higher than I prefer and (quite personally) I didn't understand how to use the coffee machine. But the water boiler made that even.

Someone sneaked in the hotel and came to our room (223 ) at 7 pm asking for money . The matter was reported to the reception but no satisfactory action was taken or atleast replied to us . These type of security lapses must be investigated properly to feel safe in there .

I specifically asked for a room on the rear side of the hotel which was indeed quiet, except for a generator which could be heard briefly every 5 minutes or so. I accidentally left a pair of flip flops in my room but upon enquiry afterwards was told they were not found, strangely enough.
