Stayed one night when passing by on the way to Italy (Dolomites), perfect location just a few km from motorway A7. Peaceful and very nice rooms and breakfast. Can also really recommend the restaurant for dinner - we all 4 had their ”rumpsteak” and a good beer. Town Hammelburg is within walking distance and we ended up walking down to the local wine festival at the town square that evening. Great start of this vacation!! Will stay here again if we go this route with car.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The on-site restaurant was truly a highlight, offering an exceptional dining experience with incredibly delicious cuisine and a good selection of local wines. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and come with large balconies, perfect for enjoying some fresh air. Another bonus is the excellent free parking, which made our stay even more convenient. The hotel is located on the edge of town, but since the town is relatively small, it was a pleasure to take an evening walk after visiting the center.

Could not have an evening meal because of a company function in both restaurants. No message was sent to us advising us in advance. No fridge in room. No air con. No lift, which meant carrying cases up two floors.

Came as a family of four for a late check in at 10 pm. We just needed a place to stay for one night. We had the apartment with 2 double beds. The apartment was nice and airy with a modern look and perfect for the purpose. The staff were very nice and welcoming.

No air conditioning! Granted, this isn't necessary 98% of the year, but on those days, like this past weekend, when it is HOT, A/C would be especially welcome. Also, waited a long time for reception staff to check us in, despite it not being particularly late.

Room is always nice and clean when we arrive. Breakfast is quite good and plentiful. Facility is perfectly located for my needs when in town.

The hotell and the owner Kaiser was wonderful. Big room and Kaiser gave us two bottles of wine , wine from his friends wine yard. We also had some wine from Kaiser's wineyard and it was fantastic. We bought both red and rose from Kaiser's wine yard.

Great breakfast and a nice restaurant with the best schnitzel I have ever tasted! Fun that they serve their own wine in the restaurant as well. Family room was spacious with a nice balcony.

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about my stay. Everything was wonderful.

Very clean and comfortable hotel with modern rooms and a very pleasant and professional staff. The food is outstanding and served in a nice dining area. I ordered the steak and was very impressed with the meal. The steak was cooked exactly how I ordered it and full of flavor. I would highly recommend it. The hotel is also a short distance to downtown.

Very warm, clean room with a large balcony, good bed. The restaurant was cosy, with a wide selection of both local and standard menu options, and good local wines. We had the chefs specials which were really excellent. Warm service and friendly staff. I think one of the best breakfast buffets I've seen. This is a really good spot to stay on a motorway journey, but we will come back to explore the area and do some hiking. You will feel looked after here, from start to finish.

There is a very small feeder rail service alongside the property (think diesel bus on a track) and whilst it doesn’t run at night it’s not the place for lie ins

Clean tidy large enough and close to our route south. Food was surprisingly good and at €250 all in for four for drinks/dinner/bed/breakfast it was excellent value

I wish there was a small fridge in the room for us to keep some drinks and foods cold, but drinks etc was available for purchase in the common room. Would have loved to try out the terrace restaurant but it is closed for resting day on Mondays and Tuesdays, and I respect the need for some time off even for hotel personnel.

Very close to the highway, which is important for us as we often drive through Germany for our holiday, and this was a convenient stop-over. Spacious room w good beds for a family of 4. Breakfast was good and fresh, all the cold food was in the fridge and fresh produce around. Very friendly staff.
